      If you have to do snow removal you definitely want a cab LOL...wish my lawn tractor had a cab it sucks running the snow blower on it because no matter what you do, you end up wearing a lot of the snow that gets blown back at the tractor.

Just "honing " My skills on All the "leavers" ,or maybe just wasting fuel ,machinery, time,effort,& environmental impact. Thanks for the great Visio Sir and happy safe tractoring. Wow that Hydrostatic machine you were running was SCREAMING LOAD.

    This is great! At least this blower moves snow out of the way and makes a nice clean path. For years, I've used a rear blade which I think makes the tractor work harder by pulling or pushing the snow out of the way. On a side note, I very recently ordered parts for my L4300 DT tractor and I can't remember the tech's name I dealt with but, he was extremely helpful and on top of that, I got my parts the next day! Love dealing with you guys

    So I've got the same setup on my LX 2610 and I love it. I have a fairly long stay matte driveway. And the snowblower is heavy enough that it scrapes pretty well. I have also found that adjusting the top link will affect how well it scrapes dirt driveways in the early part of the winter you want it tilted back so it doesn't scrape as deep once you got a little bit of a base then you can tilt it back forward. I also have a couple of remotes so I run my shoot off of that but it works awesome good video thanks

    i dont feel so bad anymore im not the only person to wear ski goggles when snow blowing. i was impressed with how it was throwing the snow cause if it was anything like i had in Danville PA heavy and a slushy mess very impressive. the hospital i work at has 2610s and haven't gotten to run one yet but they look like a nice machine always stuck in at truck. I own a 7060 so if they are anything like the 7060 great machine. when you have the right toys for playing in the snow it is a blast. Great video look forward to the next one

    We’ve had 3 feet of snow overnight where I live. I don’t think the inverted style would work effectively in these conditions. I have a L4701 with an 8 foot blade on the FEL and a 6 foot blower on the PTO and it gets the job done every time.

I love pushing snow from the warmth of the heated cab and the radio that I purchased from Messik"s playing. Maybe someday I'll get the snowblower but for now the blade will have to do. Great video as usual. I was tempted to email you after the big snowstorm we received on the East Coast but then I looked and saw that you had posted this video. A couple quick questions though. I noticed in the previous inverted snowblower video you posted back in October, that you had a 68" model that was gray. Is there a reason you went with the 60" version? I was thinking that perhaps the 68" model was sold in the meantime. Do you think your LX3310 would have handled the 68" ok? Also, do you think there would be a need for a hydraulic chute deflector to adjust the height of the throw? Seriously considering the LX3310 and an inverted snowblower when I move to my new house later this year for next winter. You convinced me in your last video that I should also stick with a Front End Loader to have the extra weight plus all the other things I could use it for. One last question, do these inverted snowblowers take advantage of having a quick hitch on the back of the tractor? Thank you for all the great insights. My local Kubota dealer is on the small side and told me they point their customers to your videos for ideas.

    Need Cab and Normand Hybrid Inverted blower. We have 2 of them. 82" and 92" and they rock.
    We run them right on the ground. They ride on their cutting edge. That gives the best scrape.

  • @mitchjorgensen2946
    @mitchjorgensen2946 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have a 60" Meteor Pull Type on a BX 2670 Works great. Goes through 6"-8" snows better than a subcompact should. Proper top link adjustment is essential. A hydraulic top link is great for different conditions such as a gravel road where you dont want to shave as much, especially early in the season. I use the hydraulic top link on a 78" Meteor PT on a Boomer 37 The pull type allows you to keep your FEL on for drifts or pulling snow away from things such as garage doors. I love how efficient it is and i believe most of the criticism directed towards PT blowers is really unjustified.

    Hmm, if I didn't already spend $1500 for the front mount blower for my lawn tractor I might consider one of those inverted blowers for my BX, but I doubt they make one small enough anyways.
    I found anything less than about 8-10 inches of snow the blower isn't very useful....the blower for my lawn tractor is a 3 stage...a 2 stage for light snow fall is a better option, but I bought the 3 stage as that's the only thing available, and the snow plow piles the snow up at the end of the driveway so I figure the 3 stage might be better to get through that anyways.

      Yeah, these types of scenarios are the only issue with rear mounted forward facing blowers. Or, for example, if you’ve collected a tall pile of snow and need to blow it out. These are a sweet option for folks who don’t have these types of conditions to deal with.

  • @reno4819
    @reno4819 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Sorry to be a devil's advocate but the snow packing into ice when you drive over it depends on on the temp of the pavement and the type of snow. I use a blade. Sometimes I have to blade in reverse because the snow packs down into hard ice if you drive over it first. The 2" we just had was this way and I still have 2 lines of ice where a delivery came before i plowed. Other times it's ok to drive over the snow first. Again, sorry but I hope this helps. Cheers!

    So, do they make one for an M7040 (ie 69 HP)? And, re back-dragging in front of the other garage; open the garage door, back in, aim the blower over your right shoulder (remember there is nothing to blow until it can pickup snow which is all outside the garage) and go for it. Re the overall video, 10x speed entering and leaving the garage with the tractor is just funny.

    Driving over 3" of snow isn't a problem but when you start going thru 2'+ or drifts and start pushing snow thru the radiator let me know how it works, because it will cook your engine quick,and if you think a snow packed radiator won't overheat your engine ask me how I know.

      If you look into a comparable 60" Normand hybrid snowblower, you'll see that they retail for >$9000 to start. Great snowblowers but at over $3000 more, it's a hard sell. For that kind of money, i think most people would buy the front mounted snowblower with the quick connection on a tractor this size.
