  • The lads are back to review last weekends Preliminary Quarter Final between Cork and Offaly. The Rebels got the better off Offaly on the day, but what will they have learnt about their play? Noel also shows that he is a card carrying member of the Patrick Horgan fan club.

I couldn't agree more!! Bizarre decision for Motm.

Would Noel care to elaborate on the absolutely ridiculous decision to award Lehane motm? Clearly Shane Barrett was the best player on the field particularly in the first half when Cork were well below par.
Barrett subsequently won player of the week whereas Lehane was rightfully benched this weekend as he didn't contribute anything bar a single score when the game was over.
There has been some noticeably bizzare calls on GaaGo coverage this year with regards motm selections by the individual co commentator, Noel seemed to be angling for a make believe "immense" effort from Lehane when the previously thought handy scores against Offaly weren't coming, anyone with betting and hurling knowledge had alarm bells ringing immediately... do better lads not all of us are gullible to what's clearly going on there.

Couldn't agree more with that comment. Not only was it clear who should have won motm, it was also very clear who shouldn't have won it. Bizarre.

Barrett or corks keeper were head and shoulders above Lehane have to say this was poor call have to question why this person was picked not the first dodgy call of motm awards on gaago.
