So basically Satyajit Ray had an Unmade script called The Alien, it was supposed to be a indo-american collab but was shelved ET's story idea comes from that but Koi mil gaya is closer to the original story of the alien

I watched the movie with my family, in the scene when Hrithik asks Rekha that main kyun nahin uska boyfriend baan sakta, rekha's reply was kyunki tu chota hai however someone from audience said 'Kyunki tera Chota hai😂' and everyone started laughing at a serious scene and i was asking my parents the meaning of what he said😅😅

nice episode! i'm with abbas on this one. also considering I'm closer to his age than the other two. felt there was very corny acting in this movie, had watched ET before watching this movie so felt it was a lame copy. and felt the women had very stereotypical purposes in the movie. look pretty, act emotional. plus the weirdass stuff like 30yos playing basketball with kids etc. would give it a 6 on 10 only because it was aimed at kids and kids probably enjoyed it back then, and feel nostalgic about it now

If Abbas is comparing this with Lagaan or DCH there's something wrong agar aise hi har chiz compare karni he why doesn't he compare bowling action of Rajesh Vivek Upadhyay who bowls rotating his arm so many times and character like Saif Ali Khan in real life senseless point just in terms of rating point
I have no problem with Anas ( he is infact one of my favourite comedians) but i think Karunesh would have been better guest for this film ( or maybe Anas and Karunesh together) .
As fun as this was, that appreciation is purely based on nostalgia because this was the most melodramatic hammy and ridiculous movie of the genre that didn’t even age well 5 years in and only 2 songs were decent. Frankly it was just embarrassing
I always listen to the spotify episode then come back for the video version. But why is the audio so low in some parts of the video? spotify did not have that issue., especially anas' volume. I would have loved to make this the most viewed podcast, sigh. Great episode though!

I think its more related to familiarity. Anas knows Urjita much more than he knows Abbas, due to stand up scene, and sometimes you tend to interact more with the more familiar person
