I owned this car, 1.3 mivec engine is great. Reliable, consumes to low gas, and powerful enough. Interior design is also very good in terms of space. I think in its age, it is better than german competitors like corsa or polo. It can reach almost 200km/h and 0-100km was like 11s. Consumes 5.5-6l per 100km. The biggest downside is suspensions. They are really firm because the car is high and they need to compansate this height.

I drive simillar Colt (3-door hatchback with 1.3 engine) and I really like it. Very easy to park in the city. The only thing that I don't like are large A pillars blocking the view a bit. Also the first gear and reverse sometimes require more force to put in, but overall it's a pretty nice and good-looking (especially 3-door variant) car.

Totally difrent then previous generation. I have 2002, 1 gen before this and it is very low car, looks like small rally car. I think it looks way more beautiful outside then this. Inside i like the design of this model.
im looking at 2007 Colt right now with that engine, how reliable is the engine and the rest of the car, and does the engine have a timing belt or timing chain???
Czy miałeś problem z nie odbijającą kierownicą po skręcie? Mam takiego ale 1.5 benzyna i jak się trochę skręci i puści kiere to można w koło jeździć. Na postoju wspomaganie działa ok.
Jeździłem takim w trakcie kursu na prawo jazdy kat. B (na automat) oraz na egzaminie państwowym, ale miał skrzynię AMT (półautomatyczną). Mam super wspomnienia :)

I tested this engine in a Smart Forfour. Surprisingly fast and with low consum, Mitsubishi knows how to built great petrol engines....good video Joe!!
Your right about the consumption. A nippy little car that sounds quite good too. Its a great car.

I've got the same Colt and I'm really happy. Small, but has good acceleration. Durable and does not cause any problems...

I love that clean looking shift boot. Why do almost all cars have ugly fake leather shift boots that collects dust.

Aw yis, had plenty of rides in this one, very snappy engine but you need to rev it's balls off.

Id say 1.3 is financially smarter then the 1.5 and a tad more poewerfull then the 1.1, but i myself dont like the gearbox of this car the way it feels

It has timing chain. Really reliable, consumes nothing

Potwierdzam półautomat całkiem fajna sprawa (chociaż jak skrzynia sie popsuje to koszty spore )
Czy zauważyłeś żeby kierownica nie odbijała podczas skrętu i trzeba było ja ręcznie ustawiać do jazdy na wprost?
