However I also saw some more combat heavy sections displayed on other youtube channels. I think you will see what I mean when you play more of the beta.
I like the puzzle parts. Hopefully they will keep that in. But the game definitely need more combat, or make them longer. Most encounters last less than a minute. You don’t have time to really get into it before its over

In the previous beta there were rogue-like element insert in those TV section but from your yesterday stream there is non rouge-like stuff appeared on your last stream so I think they change something and move those rouge-like stuff away from the tv section.
As someone already playing genshin, star rail, and vampire survivors, I'm not sure if I should pick up another game... plus as someone who doesn't really like honkai 3rd and punishing gray raven, maybe I won't really enjoy this game either... hmmmmmm

The graphics look phenomenal but since this a roguelike game i don't in terms of long gameplay will be enough. 100% this same style as genshin impact end game - do dailies (get wishing currency), use your stamina, wait for more main story, pull for new characters

i love the comic panel way of story telling, we're just able to get so many more interesting shots as opposed to genshin where they kind of just look at each other then do a generic ass animation pose weve seen a 100 times already

I like the swapping element, but it seems like it won't leave any room for co-op. Which is something that I feel like gives so much content and life to something like Genshin. At least at the start!
Skip in hoyo game is irrelevant since the games are like 50 story. Just dont play hoyoverse games if you are skiping story because you will have nothing to do
Personally ever since initial gameplay teasers came out, the combat and characters look crazy good, but the whole TV puzzle shtick looks boring as heck. Maybe at endgame combat will be fulfilling, but early game if combat is 2 minutes a round and then 20 minutes of TV puzzle, this will just feel like HYV mini-game simulator - and we all know HYVs mini-games are brain-dead crap most of the time.

Unpopular opinion, but i don't like this game at all. I played Genshin (drop it month ago), play Honkai Star Rail for now. But I really don't like ZZZ. I don't like this style, this visual, this characters design. Gacha game should motivate me for pulling them, but in this game I don't want pull anyone. All of it seems so blant and tasteless for me. Story and lore dont seem to be interesting to..... Just my thoughts about it.

I'm glad they didn't nerf this down to kiddy shit like genshin was, they making it PG-12 was detrimental to the overall quality of the game in exchange for a potentially larger player base, not like that matters since when did any player ever bothered following ESRB ratings? even if genshin was PG-17, 12 year olds will still play it.

I understand you really need the next big project that can help your channel grow further and meanwhile enjoying the game yourself. Trust me man, no game out there can do that. You might find the best next game like how you discovered genshin years ago within next week, then the same thing is going to happen. Tbh that’s just life in general. Do I like what I do for my job? Well the best I can say is I don’t hate it. Would I prefer a career that would provide my family the best things while fulfilling my personal professional ambitions? Sure! Does that mean it will happen? Probably not. Do i get depressed over this? No, because that’s just life. I simply need to make a choice: do I want my family to be fed? Or do I want to abandon all my responsibilities and start pursuing my personal dreams. I feel for you however at the same time, i still think you can do big things in the gaming realm. Like others have said in chat here tho, you are priviledged to play games as a job, so sometimes have to treat it like a job love it or tolerate it(not hate it). If you really did hate it, things would be different and might really need to reevaluate your career. I dont necessarily love my current job but im working towards a job that i do aspire to have and im probably not the only one with that outlook. That being said in your recent streams its been somewhat apparent your mindset isnt super positive towards the future of content creation (understandably) and albeit whiny but the majority of viewers simply dont care and watch streams for entertainment/ information. And if youre in entertainment youre not only competing against other streamers but also tv shows, movies, sports, etc. Its an industry that i dont envy in terms of creative pressure but it comes with the territory tbh. IMO your youtube and following is big enough to make it out of this and venture towards new avenues possibly collab videos with other streamers, variety content, react content, and less negative vibe streams in general. I looked it up; the Chinese govt forced Hoyoverse to censor 4 characters. Her breast size was legitimately significantly reduced; the screenshot in this video is a meme, but the first two sections from left to right represent the old version and the current, altered version. The section on the farthest right is an exaggerated hypothetical future version (Hoyo is actually almost certainly going to be forced to reduce her breast size further, but probably not to this degree)

I watched your stream last night all the way to the end and the early missions definitely seemed to devolve into bland too quickly. Then I saw some other streams today and there is a genuine roguelike mode with more intense combat where the tv system actually makes sense. Seems like they started with late game in mind and just haven't found the best way to implement it for early content/main story situations. Definitely try and find time to speed to the later modes and see how you like those.
The thing that makes it difficult to choose mc for a game like zzz when both are exist at the same time is that, the one you chose will usually become silent/talk less, and the one that's not chosen will be like your assistant that'll automatically talk more, right? Unless I'm wrong. Which makes me want to choose the male just because I want the female one to talk more.
the game is dialogue heavy without any meaningful cutscenes, combat seems repetitive and very uninspired. feels like a beat em up game. you just button mash your way tru enemies. such a wasted opportunity. even with player feedback, i highly doubt they will change anything. such a shame. ngl, visuals and jiggle physics is top tier tho.
It seems like there are some justified concerns by the end of the stream, which are concerns I noticed the other streamers I watch sharing as well. Even the top post in the ZZZ subreddit atm is surprisingly a post saying that while there are some great aspects, the game as a whole feels massively undercooked. I feel for the content creators out there though, it's subtle, but you can definitely tell lately that they have a lot riding on wanting this game to be good so that they're set for the foreseeable future content-wise. Hopefully Hoyo irons out some kinks!

Just caught up with your stream and I think once you get over the early game/tutorial stage of the game you will enjoy it more. This game feels like it wants to make sure players get used to the "system" of the game before the "real" part starts and I think thats why it got boring after an hour. I also have high expectations for zzz but I also need to understand the game first and although it might be boring to start with eventually I think once we get over the first part then the game will start to open up and become more challenging and engaging. Plus its still in CBT so I am sure more things will be implemented and QOL features refined. And as we know with HSR more stuff will get added per version to improve the game. I know you had high hopes but don't let the early game or CBT version cloud your judgment just yet. Keep your spirits up mtashed!
yes, it also happen in hsr beta. the reception says its boring because its turn base gameplay and dead on release. but it has successfull release and every patch time more QOL has been added. so for sure zzz will improve over time.
I always wonder what would differentiate ZZZ to HI3rd, from what I see the name of the game is "timing window". - It doesnt have attack area indicator and the visual cue is only the enemy animation. - the QTE/swap attack doesnt have cd if you do it right. - it has "stagger" bar so you must play aggresively so far I like what I see..
To be fair - if you don't play aggressively in HI3rd you will get WRECKED so on that count it's not that different. I like that I can mostly transfer my experience with Honkai Impact combat to ZZZ with some adjustments and be largely fine.
It really down to the developers. E.g. Dark Souls are Japanese games. Ghost of Tsushima is an American Game Genshin Impact is Chinese It's no longer as obvious nowadays to guess their origin based on aesthetics and art style.
I'm not being pulled into this game like I did Star Rail. I love Genshin so I tried Star Rail and it's fully not for me, i dislike the combat, movement even story. This will just end the same way for me. I'm scared to try it
@@cultok what route is that? I keep playing ZZZ but it’s getting boring tbh. One commission I just did was 40 min long inside of TV screens, with maybe 10 minutes of battles in total. All that for some loot and of course 45 “Primogems” and 1 pull cost the same as all games so, that’s really bad. Also the game gave me a free S Tier character, but this character has to many effects so now my phone overheats and lags and shut down the game while in combat :/

I think the game when release its gonna be wayyyyy better like less tvs more combat and stronger enemies if they do that Im in, you are still in too early game I think it will be more combat if you keep playing:)

I watched your stream last night all the way to the end and the early missions definitely seemed to devolve into bland too quickly. Then I saw some other streams today and there is a genuine roguelike mode with more intense combat where the tv system actually makes sense. Seems like they started with late game in mind and just haven't found the best way to implement it for early content/main story situations.
Definitely try and find time to speed to the later modes and see how you like those.
The thing that makes it difficult to choose mc for a game like zzz when both are exist at the same time is that, the one you chose will usually become silent/talk less, and the one that's not chosen will be like your assistant that'll automatically talk more, right? Unless I'm wrong. Which makes me want to choose the male just because I want the female one to talk more.
does the character you pick actually fight? i've never actually seen it do anything other than run around, like what does he do? what's his role?

EXACTLY. They both talk and if you click the dialogue, the character will repeat it but overall both of them are pretty lame imo

the game is dialogue heavy without any meaningful cutscenes, combat seems repetitive and very uninspired. feels like a beat em up game. you just button mash your way tru enemies. such a wasted opportunity. even with player feedback, i highly doubt they will change anything. such a shame. ngl, visuals and jiggle physics is top tier tho.

It seems like there are some justified concerns by the end of the stream, which are concerns I noticed the other streamers I watch sharing as well. Even the top post in the ZZZ subreddit atm is surprisingly a post saying that while there are some great aspects, the game as a whole feels massively undercooked. I feel for the content creators out there though, it's subtle, but you can definitely tell lately that they have a lot riding on wanting this game to be good so that they're set for the foreseeable future content-wise. Hopefully Hoyo irons out some kinks!

Just caught up with your stream and I think once you get over the early game/tutorial stage of the game you will enjoy it more. This game feels like it wants to make sure players get used to the "system" of the game before the "real" part starts and I think thats why it got boring after an hour. I also have high expectations for zzz but I also need to understand the game first and although it might be boring to start with eventually I think once we get over the first part then the game will start to open up and become more challenging and engaging. Plus its still in CBT so I am sure more things will be implemented and QOL features refined. And as we know with HSR more stuff will get added per version to improve the game. I know you had high hopes but don't let the early game or CBT version cloud your judgment just yet. Keep your spirits up mtashed!
yes, it also happen in hsr beta. the reception says its boring because its turn base gameplay and dead on release. but it has successfull release and every patch time more QOL has been added. so for sure zzz will improve over time.

I always wonder what would differentiate ZZZ to HI3rd, from what I see the name of the game is "timing window".
- It doesnt have attack area indicator and the visual cue is only the enemy animation.
- the QTE/swap attack doesnt have cd if you do it right.
- it has "stagger" bar so you must play aggresively
so far I like what I see..
To be fair - if you don't play aggressively in HI3rd you will get WRECKED so on that count it's not that different. I like that I can mostly transfer my experience with Honkai Impact combat to ZZZ with some adjustments and be largely fine.

I'm not being pulled into this game like I did Star Rail. I love Genshin so I tried Star Rail and it's fully not for me, i dislike the combat, movement even story. This will just end the same way for me. I'm scared to try it
Very fun so far, been playing non stop whole day. Needs longer combat sequences or more combat focused modes for sure.

@@cultok what route is that? I keep playing ZZZ but it’s getting boring tbh. One commission I just did was 40 min long inside of TV screens, with maybe 10 minutes of battles in total. All that for some loot and of course 45 “Primogems” and 1 pull cost the same as all games so, that’s really bad. Also the game gave me a free S Tier character, but this character has to many effects so now my phone overheats and lags and shut down the game while in combat :/
