The crowd couldn't relate. He did this same set for a different crowd and they went crazy. But he's a real pro...didn't miss a beat.
Imagine think comedy is about relating. But you can laugh about racist jokes 😂 and it's more about being poor. Most poor parents acts the same. It's pretty easy to relate and I am white.

I think there is a special something about every comedian...Crawford brings a different side of humor, which is educational and yet relating. He is to me one of the funniest and smart comedians.

They’re not getting the references. For example, I’m guessing they’re not fully catching that “white moms taking kids to the lake” is a reference to white American moms drowning their kids. The joke is that white moms put up with more crap than black moms, but when they snap they turn ultra violent.
Another example is that the name he uses for the hypothetical missing white girl is a stereotypical trendy suburban white name. It’s a small side joke within the bigger one, but again, they clearly don’t realize it.
I am surprised by the lack of Thundercats applause. Maybe it wasn’t aired in Canada.

Lavelle Crawford is definitely an outstanding comedian and great story teller. I believe that the Montreal Canada crowd is out of touch. You can tell he wasn't vibing with them either.
With another crowd he carried the "HOOOOOOOOOO" from the chant because the crowd were loving it, this crowd is boring. The fact he carried on with such amazing energy is incredible.
Damn, looks like the type of guy that could do well at playing a bodyguard for a crooked lawyer in a show about a dad cooking methamphetamine to pay for his cancer bills.
