@@OrchidNerd I'd love to see how your Masdevallias are doing. I think my climate is similar to yours in some respects. It can get dry here and super hot in the summer (southern France). I'm an orchid beginner, intimidated by run of the mill orchids as it is. Masdies are way scarier :)
Southern France sounds like the climate could be pretty similar indeed. I'll be sure to make my next video a masdevallia update! In advance I can tell you that one is doing really well, and the other one is just... doing? Maybe not even doing. Not anything. Anyway I'll be sure to show you.

Very cute blooms. My Mini Mark died and was also fragrant but it didn't have the yellow at the edges of the petals like yours has. The spots on mine started out with yellow/orange but faded to pink as the blooms matured. I really hope they make another cross of Phal. Fantasy Musick (which reminds me of Mini Mark) because it's impossible to find in the UK.
Oh. My. God. I want that hybrid so bad. I haven't seen a single listing of it anywhere however, and barely even found listings of it on forums. Seems to be very rare! We might need to make the cross ourselves if we want a chance of owning it... Sorry to hear your mini mark died, it seems to be a fragile hybrid. Lots of people have issues with it. Maybe I got lucky with this individual - it's growing perfectly well

Orchid Nerd yeah... We had history record workload at my office (USPS) this Christmas season so I was a bit out and behind on following my subscribed ones... but feel like I caught up. And then this virus thing.... 😣
I didn't know that Mini Mark was fragrant. Available here in Canada but very expensive. You have a great example. I guess yours is in semi hydro? I imagine it would do well. My phals are almost all in full water culture. They do fine for the most part.
Not quite semi hydro, but self watering. It works on a similar concept, except I have an external reservoir of water. I'm impressed that you can get it in Canada. In the US it seems to be simply impossible.
Mine has almost finished flowering after months and months of sequential blooms. The spike will be coming off when the last flower drops to give it a breather.
Orchid Nerd the first spike this year wasn't, had quite a few blooms and lasted no tine at all for a Phal. The second spike only had three or four open at any one time but the spike just kept extending.

It's very difficult to find outside of Europe 😭 I consider myself very lucky to have it.

If you use a grow light on this orchid should it get medium or bright setting
