Really good. I like EMP stories. Thought this was a coronal mass ejection, but then heard it was weakening magnetic feild of the Earth, so more radiation from the sun gets through. But never sure if anarchy would take effect the minute the lights went out. Probably not until people get hungry.

You could be right about the timing of looting after am EMP strike, but in New York, it's already getting that way with the criminal element without the lights going out. It would only get worse once hunger struck and innocents were drawn into the fight for survival.
