Nope! They are actually the 2nd closest to the Skyliner hub outside of Jamaica. Although Aruba is pretty close to the Riviera Skyliner as well and might be even closer. The walk really wasn’t bad at all! About 5 minutes to the Skyliner and Trinidad has its own bus stop, so that was super convenient and took 2-3 minutes. We are staying in Jamaica now, and it’s great - but we honestly do miss some things about Trinidad lol. Thanks so much for watching 😊 if you have any other questions just let us know!
@@keepingupindisneythank you! I just stayed in Jamaica and while I loved how close it was to the skyliner, I didn’t care for the room. It’s so dark. Did you like the mermaid themed better? Was it the same size as the room in Jamaica?
@@DisneyLissy the room is just about the same size as the ones in Trinidad! But with the 5th sleeper and couch/table area we almost felt like we had more space in Trinidad. The mermaid rooms are very bright and beachy, we really liked them! Trinidad really isn’t even that much further to the Skyliner, and it’s super nice having spyglass grill in the section. We’ve been missing it a lot!
My husband and I will be staying at Caribbean beach resort in 26 days!!!! We are celebrating our 20 year anniversary there! We have reservations at Topilinos terrace for our anniversary night dinner and We also have reservations at Sebastian’s Bistro for one of the nights so I’m really excited! Thanks for the video!
That is so exciting!!! We will actually just be leaving Caribbean Beach right around that time. We have reservations for Sebastian’s this time too on our first night actually and can’t wait to finally taste that bread pudding. We haven’t stayed at CBR since 2020, when for obvious reasons it wasn’t operating at full capacity. All of the playgrounds on Caribbean Cay were closed, the pool was only open for a few hours at a time and had a low ceiling on the number of people permitted at one time, and the only restaurants available were Centertown Market and Banana Cabana. It was still a really nice stay and we enjoyed our visit immensely; but compared to the current offerings, we only got about half of the CBR experience! 😉 I also don’t know how I made it this far without realizing that most of the moderate resorts don’t have a fitness center. However, I would say that the moderates overall outperform the values on every front except that one! I can understand not wanting to move away from the skyliner resorts after getting used to hopping on board the omnimover system and getting to where you’re going really quickly…but I have to say, the deluxe resorts are going to blow your mind one day haha Great video guys! Different style, same great content ✨
It really is such a great resort! We didn’t stay there pre-2020 or shortly after the closures and everything that happened, so we don’t have that type of baseline for CBR itself- but had a really great stay and some previous experiences at value resorts to compare it to! We had such a great stay ☺️ We definitely do want to try other moderate resorts too (and deluxe of course) but dang - the Skyliner is just so hard to get away from! It really is the best. I didn’t realize Coronado was the only one with a fitness center either until doing a bit of research for this video - it really does make all the offerings at Cabana bay and some other resorts in the area seem especially alluring, but there’s something special about the Disney bubble that does just feel magical and adds to the charm. We will definitely stay at values again in the future but we’re super happy we decided to give CBR a shot and see what a Disney moderate is like! Caribbean beach resort is really just a vibe. Interesting they don’t run buses to Epcot or Hollywood if skyliner is operating! Skyliner can be a bit scary if windy
Agreed! It would be nice if they still ran them, even if just less frequently like every hour or so.
