    First time trying the hydro dip…question, how can you stop the raised vainey area from happening or flatten them?

    Can you do the same technique with spray paint? Also is there anything other than mod podge that can be used to seal the paint?

    • @MissKissKreations
      @MissKissKreations  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Which these paints , they have to be sealed with modpodge or the epoxy won’t stick. And let me find my spray paint version of this

    Do you have to spray paint the tumbler first? Love this one.

    Did you sand down the glitter before putting another layer of epoxy?

    • @MissKissKreations
      @MissKissKreations  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t like to sand until I put a second layer of epoxy. I don’t want to sand away the glitter.

    Question i have a cup that I bought i love it! Is it possible to add your name to a finished cup? Just wanted to know if it was something I would be able to do?

    • @MissKissKreations
      @MissKissKreations  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can. Then re epoxy over it. Make sure it isn’t powder coated. If it is then the epoxy will have a hard time sticking to it

    So I'm just getting started in tumblers and I'm excited to try these for my first go. What type of paints are the colored paints you used? Like acrylic I'm assuming?

    can you use acrylic paints for a hydro dip?

    • @MissKissKreations
      @MissKissKreations  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have never tried that. But, I don’t believe they will stick to the tumbler well once in water, because they are way based paints.

    Can you apply a decal over the mod podge layer instead of adding an extra epoxy layer?

    • @MissKissKreations
      @MissKissKreations  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The transfer tape may ruin the design. Be very careful if you do. I always play it safe with adding a layer of epoxy first

    Is there a reason you seal with mod podge instead of a spray sealer? I personally hate working with MP.

    • @MissKissKreations
      @MissKissKreations  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve just always used mod podge for these inks. As long as it has a good seal on it, that’s what matters. Use the materials you are used to. Just remember you may need more than one coat
