Do Revenge is a pretty whimsical movie for the most part. It doesn't take itself seriously at all. Camila Mendes and Maya Hawke's chemistry is off the charts. Glad you've reacted to this, Chuuzus. You're certainly the best at what you love doing the most.
No their chemistry was electric. Who casted this? The price needs to go up because I seriously would never think they would fit this well together. I mean clicking on this movie I was like Camilla and Maya? Why? I feel bad for looking down at Camilla because I really didn't think she would carry, but she did. Just needs the right material.
I don’t care what anybody says, this movie was great! That plot twist was probably one of the greatest twists I’ve seen in any film. I was so hung up on it for the rest of the movie after it was revealed.
The plot twist at the end is unbelievable and is done just to have a twist even it it makes no sense. how could Eleanor have known in advance that the outing of Max as promiscuous would backlash and hurt Drea? how does Eleanor deal with sending now completely innocent Clarissa to prison for being a hemp and mushroom farmer? also: the plot twist makes their whole friendship seem like a a shallow farce.
@@AMPFEAST that's the thing she didn't know that the whole school would turn on Drea, but she did know that Drea was so hung up on taking Max down that she ruined her own reputation. She knew Drea was desperate and lonely and took advantage on that. The whole point was to get Drea to turn completely on her "friends" and see them as rivals that way she has no one to turn to, what she didn't anticipate was that the ENTIRE school was obsessed with Max so much so that they'd tear Drea down just because they were jealous of her, and they wanted to see Max as the victim of everything, so they turned on Drea to make her the villain. Ellenor just managed to stir the pot a little bit. Everyone already hated Drea, they just needed her to slip up so they could justify their hatred. And also, I don't think Ellenor really cared that much for Carrisa that she'd feel bad if she went to prison. Carrisa was just a pawn to keep Drea busy so that she didn't have time to go back and make amends with her "friends". The twist was actually well done in portraying Ellenor as a twisted, manipulative opportunist who just managed to get lucky and use that luck to her advantage.

Drea already hated everybody of her former friends, so any effort on Eleanors side to further separate them would be completely overfluous. especially since Dreas presence made her former friends feel uncomfortable because of Max`new relationship with Dreas former best friend. also: if the whole school wouldn´t turn on Drea because they are obsessed with Max, then what did her revenge actually consist of? of smuggling cocaine into that girls dressing room at the tennis court? of exposing Max as promiscious? these are actually all things in Dreas favor and to Dreas advantage. Eleanor revenges an unjust act done to her, so one would think justice is a very important value for her, so he imprisonment of Clarissa should at least be some issue to her. for Eleanor her sense of justice is the justification for enacting out such a mean revenge on Drea. or if it really was just revenge for revenge sake out of hate and anger and with no morals behind it, then why was she interested in winning Dreas friendship back at the house party in the final scenes? if the plot twist was done to portray Eleanor as extremely manipulative, then once again the last scenes of friendship at the house party make no sense at all. why then did Eleanor all of a sudden turn into a good person enjoying Dreas friendship?
the thing is I even notice the hints and was still surprised. like in the car with eleanor I thought she was talking about drea already and then the thing about narcissism I notice the look
This movie is perfect! It fits perfectly in the world of mean girls, clueless and so many more movies. It doesn’t take itself to serious. It’s fun and stupid and the clothes are giving. It’s a feel good enjoy movie.

I figured from the beginning tat Eleanor was not as innocent as she painted herself to be and I k ew she did something, but the real plot twist was Drea being the one who spread that rumor and couldn't even remember it, lol.
