From what I've read and multiple video's I've watched the Anime toned down Louise A LOT. She was originally more abusive than the anime showed. They Made Saito more of a pervert as well. Apparently the summoning enslaved him mentally as well as physically. He doesn't want to go home due to the spell, he is compelled to love Louise, and as he slowly forgets his life on Earth. And in the end after he figures all this stuff out and Louise does one good thing and releases him from his servitude he STILL decides to stay with her. WTF?! I would've run for the hills and never looked back. (If i didn't kill her first)

Saito, yes his name is SAITO!!! I have seen all 4 animated seasons. He gets kidnapped by an alien, (humans that are alien to our Earth) when he goes through a portal that uses magic. Done through a summoning spell. He then becomes a familiar to the witch or wizardess. You pick. A school where magic is taught to students, he becomes essentially a slave to 1 of the students. Through the times he's on that planet, he always try's to find his way home. Quite frankly, I would have let the evil whip wielding maniac's rear end, and went to live with the female maid of the school. At least I would have been shown love and affection. But at lass, it's not my story. So he helps the planet by stabilizing the governments, and destroys the evil creature that some warlord released that's meant destroy everything. At the very end of the series with a huge hole in the story line, they could full in with a post movie wrap up. Doubt that they will do that since the anime is 10 years old now. The original creator for this anime sadly died before he could start season 5.

I wish they were done right, since I'm interested in the people learning the laws and functions of this new world in an interesting way, sure some OPness is fine, but I want to see more hard work involved to get that power, it might be slow but it'd be gratifying. In the case of protagonists, outside of the more satirical like Rimuru, who's just an interesting slime, I think it's a good idea to have them build up strength, being op is fine if they worked for it, since then it's more interesting. I have too much freetime lmao. This was way too drawn out, my bad, I just thought it'd be fun to research imo.
