HEY! I HAVE NEVER SEEN JOE TRAVEL SO FAST AROUND AN OVAL - I WAS LOOKING AT THE BIG JAG ENGINE RUNNING INJECTION IN THE 300C BEFORE THE RACE AND I THOUGHT 'THATS THE WAY TO GO' I WASN'T WRONG, THAT CAR HAD SO MUCH TORQUE AND IT WAS MIGHTY FAST, IT OBVIOUSLY NEEDED SOME HANGING ON TO WHEN THE TRACK GOT GREASY BUT WELL DONE IT WAS GREAT TO SEE A NON FORD ENGINE UNDER THE BONNET. WAS THE UNDERSTEER ISSUE LATER IN THE RACE A TYRE OR SUSPENSION? I THINK THE COMBINATION OF THAT ENGINE IN A BIG CAR REALLY WORKS - WELL DONE AGAIN!
