Hey Hunter, I hope you're having a great day! Thank you for showing us a RV that is wheelchair ready! I'm glad that they have it where people that have a handicap can go camping. I have alot of respect for that RV manufacturer! Thank you Hunter for showing an giving us the information on this unit! Your number one fan an friend Leonard Nelson from North Carolina. 😎🎳💪🐕🐺🐶🐈🐒🐉😎😃. Happy Valentine's Day to you Hunter and your family!!!!
Hunter !!!! You are the man! I am a T-11 Paraplegic wheelchair bound & have been looking 👀 for something like this ….you get my Subscription & Respect from the Wheelchair Community! Keep up the hard work sir ! And Thank you 🙏
Thanks brother, glad you like the tour - happy to have you!!! What do you think you’d change about this model? I’d love to provide the manufacturers some feedback!
The one major problem is is that this RV needs to have a lift to be able to get into it with your wheelchair, otherwise there's no way they can get in!
As a wheelchair user my concern would be the switches being so high I think they should lower and I think a shower only stall would be better then a bath. And I think the table would be better if it didn’t have the booth on one side so your not just shoved on the end also more handrails around the bed would be very helpful
Oh my word this model checks all of my boxes as a mom to a wheelchair user! We drive to cleburne every 2 weeks! I’m so sad I lost the opportunity on this gem! Thank you for highlighting this beauty!
4:00 bathroom storage is easy enough to tackle with totes and baskets or plastic milk crates (my preferred method- flip them to the side when parked, up when traveling)
Build a ramp? Tub without transferable (with an additional purchase of a sliding transfer seat) seating? Range top is downright dangerous having to lean over knobs and burners when utilizing the back burners. I could go on. A single adult could not live here or build the extra equipment he would need just to go outside.
I would like to see a ramp door or wheelchair lift. Some folks can't do stairs. The back door could possibly be an extendable drop down door, like a toy hauler. Problem is ADA accessible ramp would need to be pretty long. if the customer does their own ramp is does not need to meet ADA guidelines. An awesome layout, other than ramp this would be a great camper for my family with a wheelchair bound child.
🎉They can watch how everything is arranged to make it more excessible and watch the space. We are trying to buy a camper now. We are looking one that suit my needs. I am in a wheelchair. We don't have a lot of money to get one with all that space. We are retired, we have to watch our pennies. I am glad to see they are looking out for the handicap. Thumbs up!!!!
Ok so this one has the 1 queen bed, two bunks , 1 sofa and a u dinette. My question is does both the sofa AND the u dinnette convert to beds as well? Do neither convert to beds? Thank you.
Definitely room inside. But how is a wheelchair user going to be able to get unit? I seriously doubt that you will find any campgrounds with a ramp available to setup next to your camper.
Wow Hunter, this is the only one I’ve seen that has this type of access. I’m just wondering if they worked with groups for the disabled? The entrance/exit is great that it’s wider, but it’s going to be steep with the ramp which may make difficulties. Plus an emergency exit would be difficult to sort out, the pull/push/plop windows aren’t really suitable for wheelchair users. One of the doors should be like a toy hauler ramp and maybe a sliding door. But the rest of the inside is an original.
How is this accessible if you can’t even get into the rv in the first place? A lot of manufacturers and businesses like hotels use the word “accessible” too freely and too often but have no idea what accessibility truly means for a permanent wheelchair user like myself.
I thought about removing the shower and laundry closet in the 2024 Forest River Wildwood 44VIEW Grand Lodge then adding a tub/shower in that area. Nixing the half bath for a pantry. It's too tiny for anyone but myself or my 2 toddler grands..
My legs started failing me February '23 it's been a year now and I'm in a wheelchair but i can still stand and hobble around. I've been fighting the thought of this, but that trailer is really nice ! 🤌👌✌️👍❤
Thank you Hunter! You made my Valentine's day! I'm so happy for our wheelchair community!
it was nice to find!!!

absolutely - this is a good one!!! I actually enjoy the openness of it for general use RV ideas as well!
I am in a wheelchair and this is wonderful!! Thank you.
What would you change! I’m curious on your overall thoughts on it!!
@thervhunter Hmm nothing realy. It is played out good.
Grab bars to get in and out of bed easier! 😊
@@TheRVHunterI would want to dedicate one of the entrances to some kind of chair lift. But the interior is laid out very well.
I've been begging for ADA compliant travel trailers! I miss camping so much!
I have been of the same mind! And I think the ones with rear patio might be an even easier one to design one from. But they have begun! Yay!
Buy a van and go camping.

@@TheRVHunter once I go and roll around in it! I will give an honest opinion what I think it may or may not need. Hooyah and thanks hunter

yea lift or ramp will be needed
Exactly, I think they could have done what Outback has by having a ramp built in on the side, almost a small toy hauler ramp.
It's about time. Thank you for showing us this amazing model.
This is nice for wheelchair accessible! 🎩💖✨
for sure!
How? I'm a C8 with a manual wheelchair. Where's the Braun Lift?

OMG! I live in Cleburne TX. I never knew they had this, I am disabled and I would love this wow. Thank you
No problem!! You should check it out, very unique!! Let me know what you think of it

Glad you like it! If you wanted to buy one, im sure you could have one ordered!

Obviously they aren’t customized for everyone. They should have gotten someone in a wheelchair to help design it however

Bathroom is perfect!!!! Finally a large bathroom lol usually they are so tiny
The bathroom layout is awesome and the bathtub is what im looking for in an RV. Is there a wheelchair lift to get into the RV?

Beautiful just what need in a wheelchair, too.
Sweet, and it serves a much needed market!
absolutely!

Do neither convert to beds?
Thank you.
Hey Hunter, check with like Tommy lift companies to see about a lift for the wheelchair door! No ramp required if they can make that for you!
ill keep them in mind when people ask!!!
This is the one I need!
Definitely room inside. But how is a wheelchair user going to be able to get unit? I seriously doubt that you will find any campgrounds with a ramp available to setup next to your camper.
Would love this without the bunks. Regular size bed.
that would be cool

apparently there was a large batch made for a FEMA project!
Once again, Hunter, another great presentation, thank you! I can’t find the price how much is it?
Thanks! I put the link in the description! www.funtownrv.com/rv-search?s=true&stocknumber=341RU
This one is very innovative
Absolutely!
How would someone thats in a wheelchair full time get into the RV?
Getting a lift or ramp

i feel that!
Just great but how does one get into it if you're in a wheelchair?.?????
My son is handicapped and I figured I was going to have to build a bathroom into a toy hauler garage
Direct price link did not work.
How to you get the wheelchair into the trailer?
Is there a ramp like with a toy hauler if not they should add that
that would be nice!
How do you roll inside the RV tho?
Needed to see the ramp and how it’s used and stored.
there isnt a ramp - youd need to get one
Winnebago makes several models of wheelchair accessible RVs.
Never knew that! I’ve never covered winnebagos really - only been in a few
Does it have a ramp ?
What happened to Babe I love you on the inside??? Lol!!!! Love your videos
Nobody seems to know where this trailer is. I would like to buy it
Well I had a link directly to it in my profile but it sold. Funtown RV in Cleburne Texas
Yes them
Find me a wheelchair accessible RV
i got you!
This isn't wheelchair accessible. There is no way a person can get in it without a lift.
nobody in a wheelchair wants to do dishes, maybe a wheel in shower?
