I adored Mathew tremendously since I had seen him with Keira Knightly In Pride & Prejudice as Mr Darcy. He’s truly incredible and brilliant actor and I loved the period dramas he made.
What a beautiful smile he has! And what a joy to see Matthew MacFadyen smiling.. and giggling.. and just being happy.. throughout this lovely video.. You have melted my heart with this.. and the last one is my favorite.. this beautiful man has such a joyful spirit within him.. And I believe that is what makes Matthew brilliant as an actor..his remarkable ability to let that spirit within him shine through each of his characters.. sometimes an avalanche of happiness and goodwill.. sometimes just a peak with a tweak of his lip.. sometimes with a shift of an expression.. sometimes he uses those beautiful eyes in a double eye blink .. or a timbre change in that velvety voice.. or a meaningful hand flex.. no matter how Matthew does it.. you see it there.. All of these effective mannerisms he uses in many of his characters which makes them memorable.. but they do not belong to the character.. they are pure Matthew MacFadyen .. literally he puts a piece of himself in every part he plays..it is not the character he plays whom we love.. it is the beautiful man playing that character.. I know! But that's his choice, he doesn't want to come to Holywood. He prefers to work close to his home, which is wise in terms of balancing family life and work. But as a result, he doesn't get the recognition he deserves. I selfishly want to see him in something big! :) Hehe, I'm also planning to fly to London for Jeeves & Wooster. To see him on stage, OMG!! I hope I can make it!
