A little info on degrees in the UK if you havent started researching yet:
    - Yes very expensive, but a lot cheaper than America and you only have to pay them off if you're living above the poverty line and they disappear in 30 years (usually)
    - Tend to have more variation than lit fic
    - City matters
    - Accomodation matters
    - You will probably get a loan to help with living costs but it will be a lot lower than the calculator online says and usually doesnt cover your rent
Note- most parents in the UK don't give there children money for uni, that's why we get loans

I finished my creative writing degree this year and just today I received my dissertation marks. Some of my work is also in the process of being published through my university. I really enjoyed my course and what I've done so much, that I am continuing on and doing my Masters in Creative Writing. So today has been a sort of culmination of my creative writing degree and my future with writing, so this video has given me all the nostalgia and wonderful emotions associated with my degree journey. 💜

I extremely LOVE your plants and of course all of which you have just spoken upon, they gave me more of an understanding that I may one day be taken upon :). Creative Writing and prose poetry are what fit me the best and money is none of my concern.

A new favorite thing about Shaelin videos are the analogies they attempt to make work, particularly when they have no idea about the thing (like biology)

First off I apologize immensely for not finishing the video. However! I applaud you, and am very happy, for your forthrightness to answer the main burning question outright. As it was the reason I found your video. Do you need a degree to be taken seriously? No? Good. Thank you, and enjoy my own click of the subscription button.

Good writing is good writing and all the principles transfer between genres. In the craft of writing it is advisable to learn everything from every angel. Any aspect can play into whatever it is you like to write. It is a craft one never stops expanding.

Great video! Good insights indeed, but work on your sub-titles. Cause, 'auto-sync sometimes doesn't give exactly what you are saying. E.g; your degree B.A. ? Check out again 'the subtitles,' and you'll understand what I mean.
