At first when I came to know about UCC, my first thought was it should be implemented immediately.
But, like all situations when there are pros there might be some cons. When I learned uttarkhand banned marriage between cousins, meaning a boy cannot marry his father's sister's daughter or vice versa this hit me hard. I understand that in north people view cousins as bro and sis, but here in south it's different. we only see parent's opposite gender siblings' opposite gender children as eligible for marriage. But, UCC will abolish this practice. I agree that UCC should be implemented to control certain category, but we need some exclusion related to regional preferences. Hence, UCC won't work.

Remove WAQF board at any cost in this term that’s why we have voted BJP, no vote in next term if UCC,NRC, waqf act are not addressed. Reservation bhi agar financial status base pr ho to usse acha kuch hai hi nahi.
