I decorated for fall the first days of August, and waited to decorate for Christmas until the weekend after thanksgiving. I really enjoy Christmas time, but nothing makes me happier than fall/halloween.

I would take my mom on her dream trip and also take my whole family to a trip. We grew up not going anywhere during summer break like other kids who would share where they went during summer break.
I always thought it was just my family. My family didn’t take their first family trip until I turned 18 and was getting ready to go join the military a few months after that trip.
What’s your opinions on the in laws who have 0 involvement with you but the holidays they want to hangout like once a year when the whole year there’s no support of any kind.
I would take care of my whole family, anything they need. New clothes, make sure they have good healthy meals everyday and continue looking after them ❤
A lot of stores actually don’t do that anymore. They close thanksgiving and are Barely opening for Black Friday in the morning like 6am - 8am instead of staying open all night.
I hear you Stacey, we are trying to balance motherhood, and now we’re reflecting if we give up on previous goals, are we losing ourselves? I think our priorities change. Our minds change. I also want my kids to be in a good school, but that doesn’t guarantee that they’ll go to college or have good morals. It comes from our parents. I’ve been reflecting how my parents did things & they kept working but then we were with sitters. They were chasing the nicer home but if we would have stayed in our first home, my mom would have been able to stay home and we could afford family vacations. But with the nicer home, my mom had to work and with the mortgage so high we couldn’t do family activities/vacations

I had a similar relationship with my Mother , she is in Heaven now and I try my very best to keep her alive through her traditions and her recipes . Stacy make sure you get all those delicious recipes from your mother and record them with her, you don't know how I wish I could have done something like that. If I had $30,000 and had to spend it all at once I would definitely have to say taking a family trip to all of the places on our bucket list. Quieranse mucho y respétense mas❤🙏

I love to make everyone happy but, I get overwhelmed. If I could cancel the decor I would lol I’m grateful to have a daughter who reminds me how important it is for her siblings (her as well) we’ve been in a financial struggle for the past yr due to husband having physical complications preventing him from work and exhausting his benefits anyway, we just can’t this year and it breaks my heart because in my generation my mami would literally wrap up our shampoo some toys just so we would have gifts to open and we were always so excited but, this generation is built so different. Ya me callo pero saludos, abrazos, y Felicidades por tanto! a Jesus toda la Gloria!! ❤ Besitos a Santiago!!
