      ​@@GaganChoudharyagreed completely had to sell my Kiger rxz amt in 1 year, due to these issues & many more, biggest issue 9/10kmpl average even after driving with litefoot in city, Renault should learn from Citroen and bring 1.2 litter engine from Clio to Indian market for Kiger and Triber.

    Now that's an honest review, unlike others who just create videos to upsell the vehicles like paid promotions. Please keep creating such videos for Xuv700, Hycross, Scorpio N etc as well. It will actually help people make the right buying decision. Love u sirji🙏

    Great Review Gagan ji but I don’t agree with a Few points !
    I own a Renault Kiger turbo MT. Certain things I don’t agree with the review are here as follows
    1) Power : The power of the Kiger turbo engine, especially with the manual transmission is amazing . It does 0-100 in 10.5 seconds which is faster than any other car or the segment . I’ve driven a Sonet turbo and venue Turbo DCT and both cars felt slower than the Kiger turbo , with higher test timings for 0-100 .
    2) Engine refinement : Kiger turbo engine definitely less boomy and more refined than the venue turbo, nexon turbo and sonet turbo . The kiger engine gives off a sporty thrum- at idle I agree that Kiger has vibrations, but When I rev it- vibrations quickly disappear. However on Sonet And Venue , the engines are more boomy , noisy and uncomfortable at higher Revs . At 5k rpm the Korean engines are struggling . That being said - Cabin insulation is not great in Kiger , which gives the wrong impression that engine is not refined .
    3) Fuel efficiency: We did a 300 KM full tank to full tank mileage test of Kiger on the highway ( after 3 years if usage with proper servicing ) -it returned 17 kmpl mileage which is absolutely unbelievable. This was on normal mode , 5 people , full AC and driving between 80-100 kmh on average. Whereas on highway , my cousin who owns a sonet got around 15 kmpl average mileage with 2 people onboard .
    4) Rear Seat Space and Boot space : We found the Kiger to be much much better in back seat space compared to the venue and sonet . It is actually on par with the Suzuki Brezza which I test drove around the time of purchase.
    Now on the negatives in this video which I totally agree with :
    1)Interior quality : The interior quality is mediocre at best , not the best in segment . ( but surely at par with marutis , but Koreans are much better here )
    2) Service : As ever , Renault service cannot match Maruti and Hyundai both in terms quality and network. However Renault has been very customer centric - their quality of service still can improve little bit .
    3) Electronics: Some of the electronics in the car are low quality - like the window relays and AC starter . I had to change window relays once , since purchase .
    4) Suspension- Now this is a subjective thing , though the suspension is noisy ( as described on this video ), it’s feels rugged and tuned to bad roads. It’s more firm , hence lends itself to better ride and handling. I found the dynamics of the Kiger better than the Kia sonet any day - the Kia showed more body roll . But surely the ride at city speeds is better on the Kia. That being said , the chassis of the Kiger feels rugged.
    All in all, for the price of a Kiger you get a baleno or an i20, and all I can say is it’s definitely a better option than those cars . It’s been a reliable companion to me for the last 3 years and hence I’m open to use it for the next 7-8 years or so without any hesitation. Thanks for review and keep posting !

    As a kiger owner i can agree with all of your points. But I'm a slow driver and not a long driving habit so i can ignore the point and my family is also happy with the car.❤

    I own RXT manual, your review was spot on. A pillar ne kitne baar galat hote hote bachaya hai. But the thing is Alto se switch kiya tha to looks was the first thing and drive comfort features at this price point was something i was looking for. By the way long route pe 22-24 kmpl aur city pe 16-17 is the mileage I get (non-turbo).

      Then when you will drive Nexon you will definitely meet an accident because A piller in Nexon is very big and wide.

    The car looks beautiful no doubt. But sometimes it’s really difficult to distinguish it from the small Kwid when I see this car’s front on road.

      Almost same fronts - Punch n nexon, skoda kodiak and kushaq and taigun n tiguan.. so does kwid n kiger. Bhot se log kiger ni lete kuki vo kwid jaisi lagti h. Kitne immature log h dikhawa jyada matter krta h unke liye😂

    Driving kiger rxt non turbo since November 2022,driven around 12000kms mostly off road in hills of jandk . Satisfied with performance!

    I took this from Banaglore to Delhi and return, and this is my second car after Skoda. It has performed really well if you know how to drive. Obviously there will be lag in gear switch but that you will get even in 20 lakhs car, that’s the one problem with automatic. In Bangalore, it gives 13-14 avg which is good considering the traffic. And driving European car is all together a different ball game , the pleasure it gives. You cannot compare this with Maruti, Hyundai and the worst in driving pleasure being Tata.

      @@GaganChoudhary I have kept Skoda , I bought only for city commute for my wife. I was not confident taking this to Delhi, but had good experience driving it on highway, definitely not comparing with the Skoda. 😄

    I agree to most of the negatives being a Kiger cvt owner myself, but in early 2023 it got a BS 6.2 update and the vibrations and refinement inside the cabin have improved drastically and the fuel economy is pretty good too. But one thing I have noticed personally in the Kiger and magnite cvt is that when you shift the gearstick from P to R there’s a slight jerk. Even when I shift directly from P to D. But for its price it’s a really nice and vfm product. But a major cost cutting issue I have is the lack of sound deadening rubber beading on the doors and the lack of sound deadening material in the boot. The fact that the magnite gets it and is around 15-20K lesser than the Kiger is a bit shocking. I will suggest the Kiger over the Magnite, only because it has more number of Airbags and the ease of access to Renault’s service centres compared to Nissan

    Gaganji, I drove my kiger rxt optional 24,000 kms in just 11 months, till date and I am truly and awesomely happy with it. Power lag is evident only in bumper to bumper traffic otherwise high speed stability is simply brilliant as I maneuver it at 100 between trucks,it gives that immense confidence. Maruti and Hyundai which you praise so much (definitely it's your job to review) are low on various parameters like, looks and mileage but rest build quality is absolutely below poor. For example, Hyundai Tucson is zero rating I hope you know that. Looks ka achar dalunga kya??

    I own the Kiger RXZ turbo variant and recently completed 10k kms. I ageed with all the points except one point related to performance. Trust me its turbo engine has very good power. I drove this car with 5 people at hill on rainy day. It smooth as butter. Yes on lower rpm you might feel less power but When its turbo hits at 1500 rpm you will feel its power.

    driving kiger for the last 1.5 years. No issues so far. For the price, it offers really good value. When you compare it with Magnite,
    Interiors and handling are much better in Kiger. Plus, Renault has a wider sales and service network. That's why it becomes a better choice over Magnite.
    Kiger is also better than Altroz or Baleno IMO, as you won't have to worry about ground clearance.

      Baleno has bigger 1200cc engine, better performance and more refined engine than kiger, the two cannot be compared

    Great review. I own a Kiger RXT variant. For potential buyers I would like to say, you can go for kiger if you are looking for a budget compact SUV with good infotainment system and cabin, excellent passenger space, excellent boot space and great ground clearance. Downside to this car is definitely the engine and transmission. But practically speaking if you need a family car to get from point A to point B this car will do just fine.

    Bought my Kiger MT RXZ two months ago. Overall it’s a good car with minor drawbacks as you mentioned. One thing I noticed, sometimes infotainment screen freezes but resets the next day.

    Your quality related issue with interior plastic are right. But in this price non of the car has anymore offer then plastic. The car your are driving is Kiger 2022 Bs 6 model Registration in 2022, probably a test drive vehicle. If we remove 3000 km driven which mean it was driven 1300 km for almost year. This is not realistic...Why put a claim you drove 3k ?

    I own Kiger RXT (O) manual. All the thing you said are accurate. Although one more issue is AC of this car is good but not that powerful. I am a relaxed driver and it fullfill all extra points you mentioned. Overall i am satisfied ❤

    I’m owning Kiger Turbo since a year now and i can relate to all the negativities. I’ve complained about the noises during 1st servicing to the executive. The A pillar visibility is horrible. One thing he didn’t add about stiff suspension and body roll.

    Your review is pretty good! But looking at the price range, it's a value for money with features like 4 air bags, ESP, Hill Hold Assist, ABS, Air Purifier, 205mm Ground Clearance, Driving Modes, LED's, 3 way adjustable driver seat, 405L Storage, Wireless Charging, Rear AC Vent with charging point, Exceptional Space management and the beauty in looks! I feel it's a total winner for the price it comes in compared to the other cars you mentioned. I own a Kigar and I don't regret it as it offered value for money coz I really had to miss out on soo many features if I wanted to opt for the other cars and also pay more with less being offered.

    Not sure if this point was covered but in sub-15 Lakhs segment, this is one of the very few cars which offers automatic transmission in CVT whereas most of the other players are sticking with AMT . When I test drove it, the rubber band effect was also less compared to Honda Amaze in which I could feel that I had to really drag the car while picking it up from 0. This was on Normal mode and not on Sport one. Niggles as you pointed out are definitely present where cost cutting seems very evident. In this much budget, you get CVT, modernized french exteriors, compact in size but modest road presence with the clever designing, low to okayish mileage, protruding and cheap quality plastics, decent safety (4 NCAP), loads of features like wireless charging, digital MID, wireless android/apple car play, extended warranty uptill 7 years, hassle-full/free post sales service which is a hit/miss depending on the location. I think the bottom line I felt with this car is: "You get what you pay for".

    I have Hyundai and Ford car before Renault kiger...Now i have turbo kiger,i am satisfied with its performance...it has maximum positive things than minimum negative things in this price range...

    Sir I own cvt from April 2023. Avi tak 3000 km chalaya hai in kolkata traffic. Mostly for office commute.
    I agree with your most comments except the below
    1. Milage. In city I am getting 13. Highways 19
    2. Break noise. The car has a irritating break noise.
    3. Also done some minor offroading. The car handles decently considering the price and fwd.

      1. You must be very gentle and calculating as per MID.
      2. Yes, poor parts all around. Maybe when you change pads, that will help.
      3. Ground clearance and weight distribution is good. But don’t take it in muddy off road section or big rocky area.

      No it was calcualted t2t. MID it was showing 22

    For new driver with small family this is one of the best car. I own RXT OPT auto and because of the large space and high ground clearance it gives best driving experience. It's not good only for people who like to drive fast and have many years of experience. First time buyers this is the best option.

    Own rxz since 2 years and driven 40000km. I have never got a mileage (tank to tank) below 15 in city and below 18 on highways. I donot agree with mileage fact, even ive driven this at 100+ km/h n never got such dismal mileage as stated. Cheap plastics are not specific to kiger in this price range, cant pin it as a negative of kiger. Infotainment features are way better than any other car in the category. Engine and power issue are on paper lesser in comparison to similar priced models, but practically doens't make a low feel as stated.

      i purchased keiger in Jan23. so the new batch of kigers do not have good mileage. my keiger gives 11 or less in city

    kiger i felt the same but every car is different from one another ...i like my kiger the way it runs on high way or city ..its very comforatable for long drives ...its is good car and it will be good car....gagan chowdary is a a critic rather than a a reviewer..

    I have manual RXT variant 8mnths completed 10000 km, i am from uttarakhand, pauri garhwal (hilly area)
    Family members -5
    City average is 13-14
    Highway(dehradun to Delhi) average maximum i got 29 and minimum was 25
    I don't knw why people want to over speed it is good car if you like to drive under 100kmph
    Yes is has some cheap plastic but if you are someone who take care of your car then it will be well maintained for years.
    Tip- keep cleaning your car and if you want to make it look as new as possible then keep using polish on black part.

    Gagan I agree with you, I have Kiger RXZ AMT .. All things you said is correct.. Quality of the Internal Plastic Is Below Par, Biggest Issue is A pillar.. I really have take care every Turn i take, too much blind spot.. Fuel efficiency is around 10 in city (with Full AC), on Highway around 15 (with full AC), Mix is 13 KMPL.. the biggest positive is Space & looks and Ground clearance, Value for money.. at which the are offering features.. .. Every person / friend liked at first time.. Once you start using it then only you know all the issues.. But lets see how long i will keep it..

    I recently bought KIGER Turbo CVT, I agree with the points you mentioned.
    1. A-Pillar is very thick, it really barricades the view.
    2. Plastic quality is not that great. (I had a KWID Climber RXZ AMT, and the plastic used is better in that with no rough edges).

    गगन भाई आप ने बिल्कुल सच बातें बोली है अपनी वीडियो में। मैं कुछ दिनों पहले kiger की टेस्ट ड्राइव लेने गया था। परन्तु kiger के प्राइस के हिसाब से उसकी क्वालिटी इतनी अच्छी नहीं है। Renault को इस पर काम करना चाहिए। नही तो ये गाड़ी बहुत जल्द मार्केट से गायब हो जायेगी।

    Mere pas Kiger rxz hai . Koi complaint abhi tak nahi aai hai.
    Eco mode per bhi fully loaded 500km smoothly chlti hai.
    Power bhi decent lagta hai. Sports mode use he nahi ker paya abhi tak . Normal mode per 21 highway 17city average hai.
    I am happy with the kiger.

    I so agree with u...I own a kwid...I wanted to upgrade to kiger...but after taking test drive n the feel of plastic material quality the seat belt..rearview mirror.....steering noise....mirror rolling up n down noise....after seeing all.this I canceled my plan

    Gagan bhai.. bahut ache tareke se har baat rakhi hain aapne.. lekin being a kiger owner from last two year.. slightly Mera opinion alag hain.. 1. Steering wheel centre mein aata hain.. not regularly.. agar slow steer cut loge to nhi aaega.. normal(speed) u turn loge to aata hain..2. Aapne fit and finish ki baat kari hain.. agree with your points ki fit and finish sahi nhi hain but maine lene se pehle Tata nexon bhi dekhi thi ,with due respect to tata.. nexon ka fit and finish iss bhi bekar hain.. aap kabhi feel karna.. 3. Steering bahut acha hain..kiger ka ..nexon highway pe chalai thi.. uska steering lag rha tha ki bachon ki car ka steering pakda hua hain…
    Yeh mera observation hain.. car jis price point pe aati hain uske hisab se vfm to hain.. baaki negative and positive har car mein hote hain…👍

    "parking ke waqt steering lock sa ho jata hai/ doesn't turn back to original position"..... never had this issue with my 2023 Kiger RXZ Turbo.... baaki aapke video mein bataaye huye negatives mein important negative yehi hai ki A Pillar problematic hai.... but it's just a matter of getting used to; I frequently drive the car on NH-10 which is a hilly road with lots of hairpin turns & after an initial adjustment period, I am comfortable with it now....

    When it comes to engine refinement, gearbox smoothness, accurate clutch and overall fit n finish in budget segment.. no brand comes close to Hyundai. (Considering ki aap ne 4cylinder wala engine choose kiya hai)

    As an kiger RXZ MT owner every positive and negative points he said is Right 👍 one more thing i dindt like about it is , it does auto lock the door while moving but when we turn of the car the doors dont unlock automatically unlike other cars we have to unlock it manually .. if theres a solution for this let me know

    I own a Turbo Manual RXZ for almost a year now. Done more that 5000 kms and at least in my car the engine is extremely peppy and responsive. It’s one of the reasons I chose this one over others. I have checked out almost every other car in this segment (sub 4 meter, under 11 lakhs) and this is by far the most fun to drive car (only the Turbo of course, not the NA one). There might be some issue with the car Gagan received for review because every single person who has driven my car has found the engine and space to be the best part about it. I agree with the quality part, it definitely could have been better but honestly I did not find it to be that much worse than what Tata or Suzuki offers in this very segment. I am not an aggressive driver but it’s still too early to comment on the longitivity of the car since it’s only been a year. But it certainly doesn’t feel like it’s gonna fall apart or anything anytime soon. One thing that I absolutely agree on with Gagan is the gearbox. Like I said, I own a manual and the gearbox is not good at all. The gear stick is notchy and for me is the most disappointing part about the car. Renault could have definitely made it better and smoother. Overall, I don’t have any other complaints with the car. The suspension is great and the space and ride quality is amazing. Appreciate the honest review and it’s always a joy to watch Gagan.

    Turbo CVT - One of the best car very spacious car, Most underrated car, it has all modern features and very reasonable price , 3 people can easily sit in 2nd row,segment best and similar to mid size SUV comfort and space. Using it from past 1 year
    Despite of this I 100% agree with negatives mentioned by Gagan

    In terms of quality yes the cost cutting is evident especially the exposed nuts and bolts..but i hardly agree with the opinion of the steering lock and the engine and gearbox performance...it feels a joy to drive and overtaking is not an issue..and having driven the venue i would say ithe over-all ride quality is better here...but yes throttle input has to be smooth.

    As an amt rxz owner, the first good thing is the looks. But overtaking is very difficult plus as he mentioned seat belt very difficult to put in insert. When i adjusted seat for my 6feet height, i have to bend and get inside. If i put seat back then entering fine but seat again to be positioned back to previous. Back seat passenger does not have full visibility as the glass is curvy. Another embarrassing thing you mistake kwid for kiger as both front is almost same.

    Dear GC, I have AMT non turbo top varient since January 23. I fully agree that the pick up is pathetic. sometimes i press the accelerator till it touches the floor, but it is still lethargic. I owned Renault SCala desiel manual which was like a sports car, unbelivable pick up of scala.. I miss that in this Renault car. Also city average is 11 or less. All other features are great. This is a car for slow drivers.. not for people like me who would like to cover distances when space in front of you is empty. It dosent allow me to variate my speed in city.

    This guy doesn't even mention whether the car engine is turbo or naturally aspirated and calls it slow. Which car with naturally aspirated gives power in this budget range? And if u want great experience you can buy kiger with turbo engine. I don't really know if this review is even fair.
    My views are based on actually driving kiger turbo and various other cars in this segment. I don't think this review makes any sense.

    Good review......but want to share some personal experience as I own a Kiger RXZ variant.
    When we take full steering cut the steering not only stuck but also wheels skid and the whole car jerks and it feels so insecure (this happens in low temperature rainy/snowy weather especially). This problem has no solution as many spare parts where changed to solve this problem within a year in a new Kiger but still problem exists.

    The problem with the car is it's underpowered. Turbo charging a short stroke engine is to make it overwork not only burn all the compressed mixture leaving no traces behind. The stroke advantage will delay the kick in which you see in a short stroke engine. But just increasing the stroke length alone won't help because it's a 3 cylinder engine, it tends to become more noisier so when you increase the stroke length the bore size needs to be increased . The bore needs to be minimum 90 Percent of the stroke length to keep the engine less noisier in a 3 cylinder engine and minimum 84 percent of the stroke length to keep the engine less noisier

    i've been driving kiger (o) from 1 years and the point you have raised negative and postive both are accurate, I am amazed that you discovered suspension things... which is I've found after almost 8 months of drive.. also the Fuel economy is only 14/15 km on highway. thanks for the review could you please suggest car in between 9 to 14 lakhs,

      For safety, skoda Kushaq, for Fuel efficiency, Hyryder Hybrid.

    Although I agree with you about overall quality and lack of peppy engine, I dont think any other car in same segment gives you 4 star safety rating, huge space inside, largest boot space, higher ground clearance in this price.
    This is very practical vehicle in my opinion.

      Kiger 4 star body shell is unstable. That means it cant bear more load and impact. Magnite body shell is stable. But magnite will probably fail over a period due to after sales.
      Best is amaze cvt. 4star and body shell is stable which means it can bear more load and impact. Many more positives over kiger of amaze plus 2 lacs cheaper.
      Amaze vx cvt has proper led headlamps and led fog lamps and most important a proper 4 cylinder..engine and refinement which will last. Low to negligible nvh levels of engine and road.
      Unlimited kms warranty for 3 and 5 years and can be extended to 10 on a year to year basis. Plus over all fit and finish of honda and quality control is much better than kiger.
      I had booked kiger but will cancel it. I went to stockyard shortlisted 2 vehicles after almost 6 hours there. I found this - on all kigers except white color you will find it has fit and finish issues especially on the right side bonnet to apron gaps. Only white had proper or rather better fit and finish.
      If you want more ground clearance I plan to increase the amaze ground clearance with Roger spacing . 1 inch is close to 25mm. Which is more than enough. So 170mm of amaze will be close to 190mm.
      Both are different segments. One compact suv and one compact sedan. But just for ground clearance and few feature which will keep me excited for a limited time...i rather have a refined engine, better build quality and over all smooth and reliable car.
      This is just my humble thinking.

    I found Ashish Masih's review of the Kiger more refined, more from a city driving perspective. Tier 2/3 cities and their attitudes will probably defer from the urban perspective

    As a kiger owner it's a Good car but the quality is not that good if we compare it with other rivals, suspension is ok ok but it makes it too noisy, mileage is also ok ok, where I got 17kmpl in highway with the speed of 120-150 from rajsthan to Kerala trip. Overal it's a Good car but not too premium, Anyway I love my beast Kiger🤙🏽

      Test drive all the cars, cancel out all those cars that have a red flag, and you will end up with the right choice.
      For me, it would be punch, bs6 ph2 is a gem of a car, perfect balance of ride, handling, and decent mileage
