Yeah finding weekend specials was a challenge. But Monday through Thursday there were so many great options. It was hard to choose and we ended up eating sooo much!

I really don't know how you guys fit all this food in HAHA Jamie - I love the look on your face for the oysters - About the same as mine. Although the first time I had them, was Kilpatrick and served with bacon and hot sauce. I also do believe your not suppose to chew and slide them right back LOL.... I've have never had them since. Give me the wings anyday, but Strawberry habanero flavour......I have no clue what that would be like and not something you see over here. But I'll pass on the blue cheese - Not a huge fan. We get Satay, Honey soy, buffalo or bbq as a standard over here....Yours sounded very original and would have liked the honey siracha too !!!!! Your fish tacos looked good and a nice summer food! Thanks for taking me along for the ride guys !!!!
Yeah the flatbreads were definitely one of our favorites. I think we'll be going back for them quite often. Jamie's response to the raw oysters was about what I expected, but at least she enjoyed the cooked ones! The wings were great too. Blue cheese is definitely not for everyone, but I can eat the stuff on nearly everything!
SUSHI and TAPAS! You can't go wrong! This is definitely a place for us! Especially if they are half price! Definitely the size of a personal pizza! MMM TACOS and then Oysters! Also loving that you guys continue to share these awesome food videos

I do have one question, which you couldn't have known at the time lol. Are these specials still current as of now?
Welcome to St. Pete, and thanks so much for taking the time to make this kind and encouraging comment. With a few more supporters like you, we'll both be doing this full time in no time! Regarding the specials, we know that Thirsty First is still doing their nightly specials (our favorites are the Monday pressed sandwiches and Thursday wings) and the Burg also does their nightly specials (including the $10 fish tacos). We did also get the flatbread special at the Lure a few months back, but I'm not 100% sure that they are still doing it. For any of the specials other than Thirsty First and the Burg, we'd recommend calling to confirm they are still current.
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned yet.... But The Lure does, or did do half off bottles of wine and and great sushi on Wednesday. The Vesuvius roll was phenomenal.
We actually think a LOT of people would watch a video about parking in St. Pete. We have to admit though that it would be a pretty boring video to make, but we still might do it someday if enough people keep asking for it! Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment!

I liked getting to see all the specials you guys came across. I am all about a good deal 😁 I'm just curious... you guys seem to walk a lot. How do you get around town? Is it difficult to find parking close to restaurants? I'm debating whether or not to rent a car or just use rideshare when I come to visit. I usually just use Uber and Lyft when I travel because it's easier and actually more cost effective than renting a car. I also like to walk when I can.
Thanks, Tonya. That video ended up being one of the hardest ones to make, but we had a lot of fun doing it! We really like to find ways to help our viewers save some money when we can! A big part of why we moved to downtown St. Pete is because it is so walkable. We really try to walk everywhere we can, especially this time of year when the weather is beautiful. If we're going more than a few blocks, we often take our electric scooters, which can be ridden on the bike trail, in the bike lanes, and on some roads. If we're going somewhere more than a couple miles away (generally only on weekends), then we will drive our vehicle. It's hard to give a recommendation on renting a car vs. Uber/Lyft without knowing where you are staying and where you are planning on going, but when my family visits they generally do not rent a car. The public transportation in St. Pete is not great, but there is a cheap trolly service that runs up and down the islands (Treasure Island to Clearwater Beach) and also a trips for tips service in St. Pete Beach, so you can definitely get around for cheap on the islands if you are not in a hurry!
@@Explorcation Oh, wow! I love that it's so walkable. I've wanted to live in a walkable city for a while now. I traveled to Puerto Vallarta (Mexico) in October and the neighborhood I stayed in was very walkable. I loved it! I didn't even need to use my GPS. I just checked the directions before I left the Airbnb and I was able to find everywhere I needed to go. No looking like a lost tourist 😜 I'm not sure exactly where I will be staying when I visit St. Pete. I've heard about the trolley. I'll have to look into that some more. Thank you for always responding to my questions ☺️
@@tawnykc83 your trip to Puerto Vallarta sounds awesome 😃 If you end up staying near downtown St Pete, the SunRunner would be an option later this year. It is a faster bus system that will go between downtown and St. Pete Beach. I can't recall when you plan to visit, but the Sun Runner is supposed to be completed later this summer :)

That's understandable. We got to try Rooties a few years back when we visited Niagra/Toronto/Buffalo. It was delightful!
