Definitely going to give this a go as soon as I get a hold of some more reels for sure. I've only just started out angling and I've been loving it! Awesome for mental health and been nice getting out and getting my head level.
Thanks for the watch/comment, really does help my mental health too. You are right though, fishing does have a way of settling the brain, especially if you are an active angler. Just note though, not all reels need this upgrade, so check first. I also have a vid on doing the same to the Shimano line up, they benefit even more from this upgrade
@@RodNPaddle I'll most certainly look into it. I currently own the Daiwa RG3000BR. I think it's that anyway haha. Just got my first fly rod and reel too so looking forward to using that when the time comes. Picked up a whopper popper and a swim bait as well for my baitcasting setup for pike. Super excited for it all. Always nice learning new things in both actively angling and the ins and outs of all the kit.
Weird fact, this video has in everyway outstripped my previous best video - NO its not gone viral, I mean in the 3 weeks it has been out it has sat at number 1 in terms of daily views, and likes - yet it has no comments. If you didn't know, I have a very similar video on upgrading Shimano reel drags, it's been out for 3 of 4 months and only totals in views what this video has received in the first 2 days ???? And, to make matters even more confusing, I don't know why. Thanks to all who watched and liked
