I love my King Art Gel Sticks! I like to use makeup brushes with mine for backgrounds❤
I think they are amazing - definitely want to use them more!
I LOVE using gel crayons as backgrounds on my pages, and I also have the caran d’ache palette, it’s fantastic. Quick clean up tip, I use rubbing alcohol and a paper towel to wipe down my board and clean my brushes. Not sure if that would work with sponge daubers, but it gets my board back to almost pristine condition, no matter what color crayon or gelato I use.

You’ve purchased some great books! I love Morgan O’Brien - such cute and simple pages to colour 💕 I either had the books you were showing or they’re also on my wish list 😂😂 I’ve especially got my eye on the magical woodland book - it looks gorgeous and I’ve heard it’s the same publisher as the spooky colouring book so I know the paper is amazing! 😍😍

That's interesting about the US version of the Tarot book by Lulu Mayo. I have that copy, got it when it first came out, and the paper in mine is really nice and smooth. I love the paper in it. My Prisma and Polys work like a dream. It is published by a different publisher to her million series though. I don't care for the paper in her other books as much, so I was thrilled to see that the paper was different and it worked so well with my pencils. I wonder if they changed the paper stock? If I am not mistaken Fairy Tales by Emelie Oberg is from the same publishers as the Hanna Karlzon and Maria Trolle books. Gibbs Smith is the publisher I believe. They always have lovely paper in their books. I wish they would publish more artists. Thank you for sharing your haul with us!
I need to try out my pencils on the Tarot book. It just feels very thin and more like a slightly better version of Amazon paper, but maybe it will be nice to colour on 🤷♀️. The Emilie Oberg book is just lovely - can’t wait to do something in that. Thank you so much for watching!

I love emelie’s fairytale book, I’ve found a few completed book videos actually! I bought it a few months ago and I preordered the other one a few weeks ago. I love to use my inktense in fairytales!!
I’m so excited for the rerelease to come out. Fairytales is such a beautiful book. Thanks for the tip about the inktense. I’ll have to try them out!

Hygge is original Norwegian word often confused as Danish, but Denmark took the word from Norway. We also extend the word to "hyggelig" which can be used as an adjective describing a setting, mood or person 😄 I don't know how to explain how to say it, but look it up on google translate in Norwegian 😄

lovely haul! All of US Lulu Mayo books have pretty terrible paper. very tricky to work with. i actually think the Tarot one is better than the others! it’s such a shame because the images are so nice but i stopped buying them because of that. Can’t wait to see what you do with those King Art Gel sticks!
I find the paper in her ‘A Million’ series is not too bad but I did buy the U.K. versions, so maybe it’s different 🤷♀️. I love the tarot book though but think it’s going to have to be pencils only. Thanks for watching 😊
