Well I’m doing the same I’m trying to get at least 3 cards every year so In the future I don’t have to get more, that way in the future my credit history will have a strong base you’re doing good then, after 3 months your credit points raise and after 24 months they are not showing again good luck mate
@@CheekyBird790 😂 u know what's crazy? I STILL GET APPROVED. They do go to manual review and the person still approves me but probably posts it on Facebook or somethin
Adam, Awesome video I saw this card to. I did the pre-approval process and got approved for 1500 I didn't take it though. I actually have the petal 1 card and got approved finally for 4500 bucks CL. My highest Line yet. They also have a path to the Petal 2 and higher CL. Way better then this card and way better then Cap one. I am stuck I'm there bucket of they don't care. I already closed my QS that was only a 600 dollar CL for 2 years. So I said screw it. Closing the account so tired of them saying no CL increase this time. Like really come-on. Did you see that US bank came out with a new Credit card? Great reviews as always.
I was pre-approved for $2,100 but when I connected my account they upped it to $3,000. They did a hard inquiry when I finalized everything and did all the auto-pay stuff. They tell you to sign up for the app to get instant access, but you have to have the card number to create the account... So, not really instant access. The one thing I don't like is Plaid for account verification. It asked to have access to everything. I deselected most stuff and only gave them access to my main account.
New to credit, applied and was denied, I was approved for Discover Card 1500 and Capital 1 $500. I am 18 so I will wait a few months before trying again somewhere else.
I have a 670 and wasn’t approved. I’m thinking it’s just because of my lack of credit history as I just turned 19 a few weeks ago and have only been establishing credit for a year.
@@ProudMoney I was also surprised. I currently have two, the Discover IT and the Apple Card which I just opened about a month or two ago. So that could be another reason.
@@ProudMoney yep, credit is about 680 or so, back and forth each month due to usage and payoffs, and yes after approval they did a hard pull.....got instant notice from places im signed up with, they checked my credit. and new cards? dozens in the last year alone. Interesting. So you did get the hard pull once you went ahead with the card. That is where they are not clear, they make it sound like you won't get one at all, but in reality it looks like only if denied.
Well maybe it's because you don't have many accts reporting??? You should have at least 3 credit cards and an installment reporting at a minimum. both of you sound like very thin credit report. I know some places won't bother until you have more accts. I have 31 reporting 😆 I have a very thick file but my income allows for it and much more... But I'm not gloating bc I pretty much have every low credit score shit card ever. I'm not balling .. not yet

Adam would you be able to do a revised video on credit utilization or credit gardening for us newbies if ya could? And if ya decide to could ya give me a shout out there :-) oh yeah on a side note I did the prequalify and was preapproved for $2800 but not sure about that $39 annual fee going into second year.
@@asiaanderson5556 just keeping it real, my main bank only has 2 branches as I live in the middle of nowhere. I only put money in my chase account when I travel abroad. Better than most for transaction fee. Why does the new bad credit card have a better foreign transaction fee?! Banks are so weird.
