COVID-19 has killed more than one lakh Indians - some of whom were mothers, fathers, spouses, children, grandparents, and friends.
This film steers away from reducing people to mere statistics and instead puts faces to the nameless people who have succumbed to the pandemic. It explores who they were, under what circumstances they died, and how their families are coping with the loss.

Absolutely. Tragedy in whatever sickness is 100 percent for the loved ones left behind. Death is a part of living whichever the sickness and whatever decisions taken by the authorities affect the lives and livelihoods of many unfortunate people. There are similar stories of people that have lost their lives due to the imposition. If the media just interview those that have lost their livelihoods. Remember we are a population of 1300 million people and 100 thousand died from this.

This is an excellent effort by The Quint to remind us that these covid deaths are not just numbers and data.
Each digit has a life, a person, a family and devastations with it, some how these things are lost on us or atleast we've made it to be not so alarming.
Not to mention the huge medical bills left upon the living/survivors (this video didn't touch upon it).
We are repeatedly shown that the numbers of survivors are higher than the number of people dead, implying we are doing a splendid job at handling this crisis, but infact it's due to the epidemiology and virology of SARS COV 2 and nothing to do with "our splendid efforts".
Let's pray this nightmare comes to an end soon.

The lockdown turned out to be the most horrific time for me and my family as my mausi passed away at that time. She wasn't a covid patient and because of that no hospital took her seriously and we got denied by many hospitals as they were only allowing covid patients. Later, we admitted her to a private hospital but the whole hospital messed up everything. They were just expanding the range of the bills , doing nothing and made her health worst. The doctors were rude ,the staff was so arrogant and even today i think that they could have saved my mausi's life if they took actual care of her.
Just a suggestion: Always go through the reviews and ratings about the hospital that you are willing to go on the internet before.
One bad choice can cost you many things.
    Stay safe everyone.

My Dad passed away on 14 july 2020(Covid). We tried to get him admitted but local hospital officials said he cant be admitted if he not tested positive for covid. And the covid result took two and a half day to come. My dad's condition become normal to seaver in these two and a half days.
Local hospitals were taking only those patients who were asymptomatic or mild covid. Wtf? If a person is asymptomatic or normal covid he or she can itself stay in home isolation or a govt covid center why they need to rush to hospital. Many beds were vacant in hospital but hospital staff were not admissions of new patients as they were scared of this virus and also they were not having sufficient doctors or staff. Most of the cases hospital overcharged for treatment actually doctors fooled patients family and received a big amount of money in the name of treatment which they haven't given to patients.
I roamed two day with my dad in an ambulance in search of a hospital but we didn't get any.
Two days before my dad's death we got a bed in hospital but its was too late 😔
He taught me to work hard and dont do false things. He was a caring and lovely person.

people are already taking it seriously than needed and it is causing deaths due to fear mongering... 1 lakhs dead in 6 months is not a big number considering the fact that in india daily more that twenty five thousand people are dying (i know you will not believe this)... Daily 700 people are dying of TB and last year twelve lakh new people are found to have cancer...
Most of the people who died of corona had either cancer/aids/TB or any other serious illness which compromises the immune system..
Also there are deaths due to whole fear mongering thing.. just imagine if 100 people are put it in room with few non poisonous snakes, but we tell them that these are poisonous.. what is your opinion on how many people will get dead due to snake bite??
I have seen people dying because of non poisonous snakes.. this is because of fear.. and same thing is happening here.. corona death rate is same as of common flu death rate.. so stop crying and counting on the deaths.. many people are un necessarily loosing their life out of fear...

Mera pet bhar nahi raha. So govt just does show sha but can't take care of basic facilities like food in the centre which is so important while the treatment of such a dangerous disease and with such heavy dosage of medicines. Knowing that your loved one is deprived of food and we can't do anything about it is so so hurting. On top of that they don't allow the tiffins if sent by the family members of the patient. Till date I have not got any logical reason behind this behaviour.

I'm from Ludhiana, Punjab and we have the highest number of cases in this state. Every single day a person dies on a stretcher in front of DMC which is a major go to hospital here. They don't even touch a patient unless they are prooved to be positive. Then they take hours or even a whole day for reports to come out despite patient showing clear symptoms of corona. This is the condition of states with no testing people are dying everyday , testing reports are taking time, no clear procedure given to public about hospitals that are covid or non covid if covid them at what level A B C. But well we got a highway in Himachal Leh, we got PM CM care fund, we got less interest on loans, we got more religious institutes but we can't ESTABLISH A GOOD HEALTHCARE SYSTEM IN EACH AND EVERY STATE
