@@richcurtis813 😂😂 thanks for comment took some saving and building my first vans were very basic years ago slowly as I upgrade there getting nicer Cheers👍🏼
Great video. If you are looking for a really good power bank and solar panel have a look at the vtoman 600 jump power bank. 3 pin sockets so can charge up the ridgemonkey packs. Can also buy an additional battery that extends the amount of power. Oh and it can be used to just start you van if needs be. Cost with solar panel with a promo deal picked one up for £280 think they are around the £300 £330 mark.
Great job Tym, looks really good and a lot of hard work gone into it. Next time we meet need to know about the hoodie type top you had on near the start. Would like one myself, appropriate for me I think.
@@raywalpole9390 ah that one that’s an old one mate had that years it was from another carp angler who done them for cancer I’m pretty sure he won’t have any left as it was years ago Cheers
Hi yea unfortunately a lot of lakes have done that but there are still some out there and in Europe so atleast we are ready if we rock up to a lake that allows it Yea don’t take long to spend money on them and mine was basic so putting fridges cookers heaters etc must cost a small fortune Cheers tym
Cracking job 😮 I'm building a similar van for fishing and solar panel from city plumbing cost me 75£ for 435w and mppt controler 40amp around 100£ plus cost cables and connectors
Hi yea I thought hard about it but with the power packs I e got I reckon I can last around two weeks before I need electric so decided against it plus I was on a time limit building it so it saved a bit time and money Hope your build goes well Cheers👍🏼
@TymsCarpTv Yeh, if you have a good power pack, is that enough for you, no sense, install solar panel on the roof 😉 Yes my buid goes well need some changes after few months used 😀 anyway I'm buid them for Europe fishing trip and originally I'm from Europe but I leve in England around 14yers and around Kent not many lakes allows park next to swim 😓
Lookin for a van myself. Lookin at transit custom..or do you recommend something else? Will be my only motor so want swb and low roof. Day van type of thing. What sort of mileage is yours? If you don't mind me asking. All vans seem to hold their price. Cheers mate.
Hi mate It’s a mine field buying a van and it all down to personal preference When I was looking I ask around for months and months and one person said buy this not that and another was complete opposite Mines done 70,000 one owner My advice to you is get a mechanic you trust to help you or get a good warranty with it I manage to get a 15 month warranty in total for a bit extra money Main thing is do your homework and drive them all to see what suits you best Cheers
