I feel the reason Blade and Jingliu are insistent on Dan Heng paying for Dan Feng's crimes is because Dan Feng is no longer in this world and Dan Heng barely remembers anything about that time so he got a fresh start, meanwhile neither she or Blade are able to find any sense of peace while Dan Heng was able to move past it, so they hold a grudge for that.
The high masters of dragon race did something of dan feng’s punishment! They didn’t followed the orders of xinzhou league cuz they want to keep their races power which on dan fend for thousands lifetime! Dan feng is not absolutely washed to became another man as dan heng….
Jing Yuan sounds so broken by the end of this quest, and by the looks of it, Dan Heng isn’t taking it well since he decided to not go on the mission to Belobog.
Everyone has had their share of suffering Dan Heng keep getting the blame for every wrong Dan Feng has done Blade becomes a Long Living and wants nothing but the sweet release of death Jingliu who's sanity is walking on a string above a pits of spikes and Jing Yuan who watches his Friends and Master ruin while he stand as the sole High Cloud Quintet that still defended Loufu kudos to this Patch for making full use of Hoyo's Trademark. Inflicting as much emotional pain as painfully and slowly as possible
I feel so bad for everyone involved in this situation. I still have so many questions about what Dan Feng did back then, but I know with story telling like this it'll be worth the wait to see exactly everything when the next set of story quests come out.
i mean, all you really gotta know is that Dan Feng tried using the resurrection powers (normally used on Vidyadhara) on Bai Heng, with the help of Blade ofc. but they both failed, and both faced their own consequences for it.
Speculated spoiler from various voice lines and this story event: So the thing dan feng and yin xing trying to revive baiheng via flesh of abudance's emanator. But it failed, resulting it becoming monster jingliu slain. The speculated point that baiheng's soul did survive and later on becomes bailu. As fate of both conspirator, the story already tells a bit of it.
It's weird that both blade and jingliu go for check for Bailu even though they know that their situation isn't curable mean they just want to see how she's doing and blade accept that this person isn't baiheng but a new person a fresh start it also states that she has nightmares about sky faring
so in summary (possible spoiler) Danfeng tried to revive baiheng but fails resulting in yinxing (blade) to become an immortal monster my question is how did jingliu ended up getting mara struck?
All Xianzhou natives are destined to be mara-struck. They are long-living humans called "Homo Celestinae" since their ancestors ate the fruits gifted by Yaoshi that provided immortality, but it will eventually turn them mara-struck which is why they turned their allegiance to Lan of The Hunt instead to destroy the Abundance. Yingxing was not a Xianzhou native which is why he was the short-living human amongst the quintet until he committed that grave sin with Dan Feng. There will come a time that perhaps even Jing Yuan will become mara-struck or even any of the other natives, which is why Cloud Knights consider it an honor to die fighting for the Xianzhou in the battlefield. It means they will retain their sanity upon death.
Nah I'm gonna call BS on Bailu being Baiheng. If she was, it wouldn't make sense why no one else would know. And I don't believe it fits Bailu's lore either. The only reason why people say they're the same is cuz both names have Bai in it. I guess by that logic, Jingliu and Jing Yuan are the same person too.
not just the name, but the fact that they have the same facial features, eye and hair color, and bailu wanting to travel than being a healer made them theorize that bailu is the successful reincarnation of baiheng.
If you look at baiheng, you can see similarity between her and bailu, both has purple hair, both loves to wear fur on their shoulder, at the end of bailu tail also fluffy like foxian tail, bailu has dream of flying that make her always cry, baiheng loves to fly, she was a pilot, before we fight phantyllia, we met a shadow recording jing liu's voice how she infiltrated high elder residence to check on bailu, why she bother? Because she is bai heng
Well Bailu isnt excatly Baiheng (the theory is that she is her reincarnation). Remember kafka's story quest ?. Blade went to see someone that hes greatly indebted with, and it has been revealed in JL story quest that it is indeed bailu that he met. Why would blade met her if shes has no connection with Baiheng whatsoever ?
