I saw them in concert in Dublin, many years ago. Thirty people in the pub, 4 from Liguria, my region (Italy) :-). Bap gave us a t-shirt with the name of the band...
17 years old when I bought the cassette, album was the most influential piece of music I ever came across, back then the songs had very different meanings to me, at 42 I honestly believe I wouldn't of seen or done half the things in my life without coming across energy orchard, RIP Bap, thanks for the journey, hope to meet you at the end of the road someday!
D'ya know what I won't mince me words this band are the dogs bollocks I've loved this album since it came out.....in a way I'm glad they never hit the "big" time because it's like they're "our" secret
Heard this track on Saturday morning TV when I was a kid. Went into town to buy it from 'Our Price'. Never heard of em mate. This is the next time I've heard it what 20-30 years later. Ahh the music industry, rock on Bieber!
ive had this song in my head for years but couldnt remember the name of band or song but just come to me before, so glad i found it as i blasted this outta my loft in the late 80's? Now my 12 year old son will enjoy the brilliance of it...
Excellrnt stuff! Wish there was more of their music on youtube, Interviewed the band a few times as a student journalist & enjoyed many drinks with Bap K! Wasted is a classic track!
great song lovely guitar work ,sorry that I have only come across the music from this band now ,was recommended checking them out back in the 1980s by my barber in lupus street pimlico who was a close friend of Bap
Was given a CD of this song back in 1990. It was found dumped along with loads of other cd's. I had never heard of them before this. Among the 4 cd's given to me was also Kevin McDermot Orchestra. Great songs from great bands who should have been B I G !!!!
Saw Kevin McDermott Orchestra a few times in Glasgow around time of their debut album release. Terrific album. Just never got their deserved break, like Del Amitri were lucky enough to get...another good band.
Paul is a Dad? I interviewed the band many times in London & loved the hospitality. Wish they were still around. Pass on my regards - (Student Grant) Marcus
WOW what a find on here, love thes guys, saw them twice back in the days, at The Old Trout Windsor (now sadly some naff chain eating pub) and The Mean Fiddler. Great days.
One of the most underrated band ive had the pleasure to see. I believe if it wasn't from where they were from and lot of their song maybe a bit to political
Fantastic! Never thought I'd see Energy Orchard here. Saw them loads of times. BAp Kennedy liked jumping off the stacks and busted his leg up one time I remember. The demo of Sailor Town had a heavier guitar sound than this polished version.
Hi. I have the Shinola CD which has the live mini album (6 tracks on it), but the album cd only has 11 tracks on it - is this what you are looking for? If so, I'll burn you a copy.
Fantastic track 😎😎😎
The guitar on this gives me goosebumps. I can't believe this song wasn't massive.
I was lucky to see them quite a few times one of the most underrated bands of the 90’s so shocked to learn of Bap’s passing
Bought this song on 7 inch when released..late 80s...still make my spines tingle!
Bring back Energy Orchard, this song is timeless
If only we could ❤
Forgotten genius.. Bap Kennedy. One of the great bands of the early 90`s. Beautiful work.
+CARLOS EUGENIO Calle Still records great stuff.
Energy Orchard deserve so much more recognition! Their music is beautiful and I am so thankful my dad got me listening to it.
Tremendous song, tremendous band, tremendous fella Bap Kennedy. Wherever you are Bap, keep writing
