This is probably the best detailing video I've seen. A true professional detail. This is right up there with Paul Dalton owner of Miracle Detail and Polished Bliss with the best Detailing videos.
Whoa! That's incredible. I wish I had the experience to do something like that to my daily driver! Whew, that Swissvax looks like some awesome products! Definitely a company that knows the true art of how to properly detail a car from top to bottom utilizing their products designed for each specific part of the vehicle.
I'm sure the wax stuff is a great product, but could you imagine standing outside your house rubbing your hands all over it! Your neighbours would think you had some sort of fetish!
It is actually a very bad idea to do this with your hands. It is rather popular these days. But your hands are an abrasive. So you are actually wasting exactly that what you are trying to achieve. So rather do it the old fashioned way.
i appreciate the hard work but just curious as to why a microfiber applicator was not used? I think this whole application of wax was highly exaggerated.
Very nice video indeed!!! Woderful job and great car. Would't be necessary to dismount wheels to apply wax or sealant or the client did not want the wheels removed?
The wax has so much carnauba in it that it's stiff as clay in the jar. With waxes like that, you have to apply it warm or it won't bond to the paint. The best method is to slap some on your hands and rub them together before applying. Using a towel or foam applicator won't work.
might have to do with the endresult car was pretty good in hydrofobic so.guess it was treated before. so............i dont know prewash and stff was really enough?
The sad thing about detailing is.. swirl marks will always come back.. its magical. Even wiping or buffing the car down with a microfiber cloth will induce swirls marks.. barely noticeable.. but it happens.
Why wasn't a car dryer/blower used to dry the car, thought less contact the better. Suppose the car was being machined anyway. I'd love this wax but can't justify 300 pound for it for a C63 that lives outside
If he detailed a proper job after washing he would of wet it and clay bar cleaned the surface to remove the contaminents that remain embedded in the paint grooves that are just like the grooves on a LP vynl record. As would be recommended by swissvax...These remain and further polishing will add further swirls.
Ok, the nitpicky stuff. You never put wax on matte finishes, such as flat black trim. And never wash the lower portion of the car (dirtiest) then drag that mit back up to the upper surfaces. Even if you are going to polish, you're still inviting deep scratches that will require extra effort to remove. Rant over.
ok but what about the salt from his hands bruhhh? wouldnt the crystal like structure act as an abrasive and like totally marr the clear cloat on a microscopic level whoooo think about it bruhh?!
there is not enough salt on his hands to do anything since it would be dissolved in his sweat already so its not a hard crystalline structure.. I was just saying. there is a ton of natural oils in the wax and there is nothing wrong with applicating it by hand. This wax is also like $2000, the applicator might waste a bit? I dunno man
It makes sense because it cost more? I talked to a few pro detailers and found a lot of it has to do with the region you are in and not exactly the wax. You are correct about heating the wax but it's not because it's expensive.. just because of the temperature.
ISEE YOU Some specs of contamination in the paint will be felt with the hands. Hypothetically, let's say a piece of dirt or dust got on the car after the wash but before the wax. You may pick up that foreign object with a foam applicator and continue to rub it in the paint. With your hands, you would feel it immediately, stop, wipe it off, and continue on. Worth it for really valuable vehicles.
***** Dude.. you don't WAX a dirty car.. the car should be cleaned and paint decontaminated before using your Last Step Product (LSP). If the paint is swirled it should be corrected as well before doing an LSP to keep it looking new or better than new. Those of us who detail know even new cars need work.
Think of paint like skin. Would you use a towel or applicator to rub lotion on your body? No. Would you apply face cream without washing your face first? No
lol the music cracked me up..it took the guy so long just to get that side panel covered, imagine how long the whole car would've taken..the prettiest girls in the world can't get a guy that would give them that kind of attention in bed hahah...there's just something about cars that are not only incomprehensible for women but for men as well....we just love cars
ruchb1 That's fine, enjoy wasting more time on drying. Enjoy having a higher chance of water spots forming... When you have more than one client to detail drying with a Metro Vac can same you a ton of time and frustration. www.autopia-carcare.com/metro-sidekick.html#.UywC4qEo6zk
So let me get this right, you can add all kind've liquid sand paper (compounds) to this car, use a rotary polisher BUT you use your hands to apply the wax? why didn't he just use the hair on his head to remove the wax? Overkill.. The biggest overkill think i've ever seen in detailing. But hey, works for him so whatever!

sean smith it's the best way to apply the wax. The wax needs some heat. It looks strange i grant you. I always use my hands
tankeriv one must always soften the skin in hot water first.
i appreciate the hard work but just curious as to why a microfiber applicator was not used? I think this whole application of wax was highly exaggerated.
Stunning
pas de passage a la Clay bar ?

Why use the hands??? I am super curious! This product is crazy expensive.
Great Job!
What did you use to dry the car
I live in New Brunswick where can I buy this
hi... how much does this costs?
might have to do with the endresult car was pretty good in hydrofobic so.guess it was treated before. so............i dont know prewash and stff was really enough?

Did that guy just give that Ferrari a "HAND-JOB"
+Mp0wer that background porn music
The sad thing about detailing is.. swirl marks will always come back.. its magical. Even wiping or buffing the car down with a microfiber cloth will induce swirls marks.. barely noticeable.. but it happens.
If he used his hands to rub the car what did he use to clean the exhaust hole lol.
is the 599 hgte!! whit diferent wheels and exhaust and sound!!

Wow I had never thought of putting opaque on the engine bay...good idea
EPIC CLEAN TIME!

technically your hands have oils on them, which can containminat the curing process.. thats why there are applicators..
there is oil in the wax bruh.. thats what carries the wax

I find it especially intriguing when he starts to apply the wax with his hands, it switched to a soft melodic porn themed song.
ohhh shinny.....i want that!
For people to appreciate this you need to get an old banger off the streets, and detail it... not a car that is already nice and pretty
Awesome
What benefit do you get by applying wax by hand (literally) like that? Is there a reason an applicator wont work?
It makes sense because it cost more? I talked to a few pro detailers and found a lot of it has to do with the region you are in and not exactly the wax. You are correct about heating the wax but it's not because it's expensive.. just because of the temperature.

***** I think you are thinking of chain car washes and not a Pro Detailer.. try agian..

Wheel cleaner, fallout remover, rinse, prewash, snowfoam, rinse, claybar, rinse🤷♂️
Theres still swirls in the paint but good video
My GF got jealous when I waxed my car.
lol the music cracked me up..it took the guy so long just to get that side panel covered, imagine how long the whole car would've taken..the prettiest girls in the world can't get a guy that would give them that kind of attention in bed hahah...there's just something about cars that are not only incomprehensible for women but for men as well....we just love cars
🧢
dude your fingerprints are all over the car !
oh wait this is hand waxing
I thought the guy was on MDMA for a moment when he started rubbing the wax on the car with his hands.
There is car detailing, and then there is OCD. I think this is close to the later.
jakbym mial taki samochod to wolalbym bo pielegnowac samemu....
手上蠟根本對車就是一種傷害,對商業來說就是一種噱頭
I know where I'd bring my car if I had the money ;)

un peut trop a mon avis sa frise le ridicule
A porn.
I don't even let people touch my paint with there finger let alone this nonsense use a applicator
The heat from his hands activities an enzime in the wax, that's why
Agree. The dude is clueless.
+Will Maddox the enzymes? lmfao
Great Job!
