I will say, he does somewhat have a point about it being easy to mash out wins in T8 compared to other Tekkens, but its still Tekken and they've honestly done the best job of ANY other fighting game to make the game easier to play. They didn't pull a Strive and kill the game in the name of players who dont actually care about the FGC.

When he said that I had to check when Fang was first playable, you're totally right. It makes zero sense for this oldhead to go off on boomer tangents like how people with beepers did not adapt to cellphones, while simultaneously going off about Fang being introduced to him as a kid. If he was a kid when he played Tekken 5, then he must have been an infant when he played SF3: Third Strike, and straightup unborn when he played SF2.
I like this arc though, he used to be unaware of the fact that he betrays his age when he uses his oldhead references, maybe he realized that now? Like how he says BREH every other word because that's what the white college (male) kids at the gym says that he lusts after, he uses this as a mechanism to hide his age, I hope he will lie more in the future about how he related to media and trends.

When he says the movement is different yea it’s a little slower but chaining backdashes is alot faster even if the distance on those dashes are nerfed a bit. LTG needs to learn how to KBD but we know he won’t do that.

Take most used characters in the practice mode and learn punishes.
Just be patient in lower ranks they definitly will whiff or use unsafe moves.
