      Absolutely. If a firearm is used in crime in Canada and it comes from registered gun owner in the United States that is not reported missing then they should face extradition to Canada to be prosecuted. Anyone caught smuggling a weapon across the border should face a harsh jail sentence with no parole. If a smuggler is connected to a murder then life in prison. Make it absolutely clear that Canada does not F around with gun laws and our border security.

    Didn’t Stephen Harper cut $50 million from border security? I agree that we need to reinstate security, but it should be done across Canada with the support of the Conservatives, Liberals, and NDP. I don’t like how Trump is dividing Canada, and I find Trudeau’s actions to be very weak. Danielle Smith should be united with Canada versus going off on her own.

      @@lornemyers6638 There is more than that one.
      The Canada Health Transfer, the Canada Social Transfer and Equalization are the three major transfer programs. As you know the Health and Social transfer distribute funds to provinces according to their population. Most federal transfer dollars are based on population, making transfers as equally distributed as at any point in Canadian history.
      We all know the folly of the claim why equalizations payments is not fair to Alberta, and know how it makes for great sabre rattling let alone the politics of distraction. Those that make that claim always ignore that Alberta has a large number of high income individuals that pay more; it is not that Alberta pays more . Keep in mind that the higher incomes in Alberta and a younger population, means fewer OAS and CPP money flows to Alberta, which widens its federal fiscal gap. Plus Alberta’s large deficit also does not entitle it to equalization. Ottawa is always an easy target, even when the feds provide humongous support packages for oil and gas companies here and abroad that kept Alberta’s fossil fuel projects financially viable. The federal government is one of the largest international fossil fuel financiers in the world.
      Those high incomes and the large income from corporate taxes in Alberta has an income tax rate that is much lower than the Canadian average yet Alberta has no issue with receiving pretty much the same per capita allocation dollars from all federal major transfers as BC, ON, NFLD, and SASK gets.

      There should be NO minimum wage, your labour should be worth exactly what someone is freely willing to pay for it.

    • @DavidGreekas
      @DavidGreekas 18 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Are you smoking crack, Alberta has a $15 minium wage, one of the highest in the Country, besides raising minimum wage, just brings up costs, and closes down small businesses, the way to address cost, is by increasing competition, not raising labour costs, to shut down competition, that works great for large corporations, thats why they advocate for minimum wage increases, not because they want to pay more. Once competition is eliminated they have a monopoly, which if you haven't noticed is bad.

So the child has a tantrum and makes ultimatums, she is just handing the child a chocolate bar. And like @19angela71 says, he's just going to do what he wants regardless. If your ally threatens tariffs on you and shows you plainly and clearly that you never were allies, you immediately reply in force and start looking for alternative trade partners so that you're no longer vulnerable. This government has shown how weak it is. It's quite disgusting.
