it’s Christmas Eve, the most beautiful night of the year.
it’s a night of joy and everyone you see, is so merry and bright!
The town is all lit up and decorated for the holidays
the streets are crowded
you can hear kids laughter in the alleys and markets
Everyone is elated for Santa is on his way. I hope you are excited too! For Santa will be brining many gifts for all of us :)
it’s Christmas Eve and here’s little Zoe
With her parents she’s putting up the Christmas tree
She decorates it with her choicest ornaments
The tree looks so, colorful and lovely!
Little Zoe takes out the cookies
Which mom made in the day
She places them on a tray with a glass of milk
And keeps them besides the Christmas tree
She leaves a note on the tray saying ‘For Santa Claus to eat!’
Little Zoe then sits on her chair
She takes out a pen and paper.
She writes a letter to Santa
on all the things she wants this Christmas!
Putting the letter under the tree
She sleeps on her bed blissfully
Ho Ho Ho Ho up in the North Pole
Santa prepares for his visit
he packs all the gifts and looks at his map
Oh! He exclaims with joy!
I have to visit little Zoe first!
He hops on to his carriage
And soon begins to travel
On arriving at Zoe’s house
He lands on the roof
Locating the chimney he enters
And slides down the fireplace
One by one he places the presents
Under and near the Christmas tree
He takes a bite of the cookies
And drinks all the milk
He laughs cheerfully
In the morning little Zoe wakes up
And runs downstairs to the Christmas tree
She’s so excited looking at the presents
And starts to unwrap them happily
She thanks Santa for the lovely presents
And bids him goodbye
