As I understand it, acting never came easy for Reeve, who really had to work extremely hard at his craft. Makes it easy to identify with and respect him all the more.

I guess that fall lasted 100 seconds or so, before Superman reached him, must have been, the slowest fall ever, maybe Clarke used his Super-powers, to slow the boy falling down, so he could reach him, before he fell in the sea!
She jumped into the water down-river from the falls at the Whirlpool location. The specific boardwalk she jumped from is in an area called White Water Walk and is at 4330 River Road. It is close to the area of the Whirlpool Aerocar and the Devil's Hole.

Clark and to an extent Superman is right. While many people are impressed at what Superman can do. As an Alien living on Earth, he's amazed at the natural wonders of said Planet. Actually got to see Niagara Falls back in 2000 with an exchange programme from northern ireland. You could see the bridge that crossed over to the states from Canada didn't look manned back then, and the wee town of Niagara. I remember our youth leader saying I had viagra in Niagara. You can actually go behind the falls too how they did that I don't know. And they have a a way of controlling the flow of the river so it does not reside as much. What else...oh yes years ago some people went down in a barrel hard to believe, and someone went over from one side to the other on a ripe road. Respect. Phil.
Anonymous. The bridge is called Rainbow bridge. It is manned on both sides. 50 cent toll to walk it. Free to drive i believe. But the american side is much larger. Theres a customs building you walk thru at the end of the bridge. Or booths if you’re driving. The american side of the falls -not horseshoe falls(canadian side) you can walk behind. & yes they can control the amount of water that flows down. If you ever get another chance to see it- try viewing it during the winter. The ice buildup is incredible or googling it would work too.
The tunnels in the Journey Behind The Falls experience are former water tunnels for the defunct power station. All that stuff is industrial leftovers. Since 2000, more access has been made available. You access the tunnels at Table Rock, which is where this scene was filmed.
Remember, kids, never EVER step over to the other side of the railing of Niagara Falls it’s dangerous. Play somewhere safe like the playground in the park or your own backyard at home.
Police dispatch is immediate and the fine is $65. Two years ago some street kid was sitting off of the grassy ledge in this same location at Table Rock where this scene was filmed. This kid asked me for a cigarette and he showed me his ticket from the cops. There were 2 or 3 units dispatched and they got there very quick . It was after sundown mid-summer about 10pm so you know they are keeping tabs on people with a thermal camera. The park police showed up too quickly for somebody to have called 911. Stay off the ledge.

What if Superman didn’t want to risk blowing his cover and so he didn’t save the boy. Then afterwards after he changed back into Clark and took his glasses off in front of Lois and said, “You know what, screw it you got me, I’m really Superman. Now, Let’s go back to our hotel room and make love.”

+hulk fan Yes, that's what the person said. However, it didn't make sense where whoever said that was probably thinking that only Jewish people are superheroes that save others. The one who said "of course he's Jewish" must have been the woman who said "what a nice man" from 2:54-2:56.
Maybe she thought Superman was the Messiah that Jewish people are waiting so long, since Jews do not believe Jesus Christ was the Messiah, and that's the main reason they are not Christians. She probably thought Superman did a miracle by saving that boy, and therefore she thought he was the Messiah. So if he was the Messiah he could only be Jewish.
Superman is full of Jesus references - father on sky, savior of humanity... In S4 he enters UN building surrounded by children - Jesus enter Jerusalem...
Superman is a copy of Jesus. Nothing so original about the superhero. And the story is full of references like adopted by a couple, names Martha and Jonathan, M and J, like Mary and Joseph. Throughout the movies there are several clues such as in Man of Steel: Clark full beard, falling from the sky arms open like when one is nailed to a cross, his father talking to him, telling him to save humankind. And he and his father are called El, which in hebrew means a god.
The Fleisher serials were the original Superman, before Lex Luthor and a Nikola Tesla clone was the villain. George Reeves was the original live action Superman.

This as a very popular scene with the aliy
