That would be also a very nice idea 😀 , but it’s actually for Santa Clause to let me know when he has delivered my presents 🎁 🤪 But who knows where else is this exact bell used???
Ship bell. The tradition is that sailor got it, but normal people used it to call/ring inn the kids and as a door bell, if guest coming and owners are out on the property
Hi Christopher, thanks for your message and watching my videos! I have just been on your channel and read your story. If you like you can send me an email, then I will let you know what I plan at my homestead in the future. But I will also talk about it in the next videos. All the best for you, Forest
Hi Christoffer, I think my email address will not show up on the page before I get 500 subscribers. here is my email address: naturecampsweden@gmail.com
I think we have a winner here …! Yes, it is a ships bell. But I initially bought it after reading the book by David Goggins, „Can’t Hurt Me“. I bought it to remind myself to never give up, whatever happens. In the Navy Seal training they use this kind of bell, if you want to quit the training week (Hell Week). If you ring the bell, it means that you give up and can go home… :( I use it for friendly visitors, of course :)
i follow a lot of guys like you , and if i may give you my viewpoint, get out of the rapid video i means to show your work in real time, not 2 weeks in 15 min. let's viewers ear the sound of your tools, nature , etc. no music( i have music here at my home if i want to ), and i am sure you will get more successful ! ❤
Yes, I totally agree and that is the plan as soon as I caught up to real time with what has happened so far. It is just a lot of work and new things I need to learn and get used to (building, training the Huskies, growing food…) and then edit videos at the same time. That’s why I am behind… but I will catch up and then have more time to make great videos (also need to learn this…) Thanks for your advice and following my story!
Boa sorte na sua maravilhosa nova vida. Se faz favor poderia activar os subtitulos internacionais nos seus videos e a tradução dos comentarios? Muito obrigada. sigo vós desde Portugal
@@Fuzzyedgz I hope to get it edited by Monday or Tuesday. Sorry for the delay, but I’m so busy to prepare the new construction for the winter and this has to be done. Thanks for your patience to all viewers and subscribers!!!
Because it is not very well insulated and pretty old in the structure. It is shaped like a „U“ and therefore very expensive to heat it. My initial plan was to replace it with a Loghome and very strong and thick logs…. More in the next videos ;)
close! But not exactly ... it has to do with the book from David Goggins, 'Can't Hurt Me' ... If nobody will come up with the right answer in this video, I will reveal the answer in Part 2.
… yeah maybe, but working in construction all day long, is not really training the right muscles. And hanging on those rings is very good for your back and shoulders.
You use the bell to " tell " people who are outside that the lunch/dinner is ready 😊

That dog swing is fabulous
BEAUTIFUL LOVE IT !

Super nice dein Video. Deine Klingel ist eine Schiffsglocke und wird zum "Glasen" benutzt.

@BacktoNatureinSweden-lu8hi Just didn't want to miss it!
Hi! What kind of heating do you plan to install?
Hi, in the main house is a heat-pump and a wood burning oven already and in the largest guest house I have installed a wood burning kitchen oven.
@@BacktoNatureinSweden-lu8hi Thank you and congrats to this beautiful great job.
Why would you tear down the house?
Because it is not very well insulated and pretty old in the structure. It is shaped like a „U“ and therefore very expensive to heat it. My initial plan was to replace it with a Loghome and very strong and thick logs…. More in the next videos ;)
But not a single word about how you finance that amount of sparetime fun..
But I hope you liked the video!

If you need an outdoor gym you don't work hard enough..😉
