Relive the Givenchy Haute Couture Spring Summer 2020 show by Clare Waight Keller from, that took place on Tuesday, January 21st at Réfectoire des Cordeliers in Paris.
Stunning. Loved every look, especially the gowns that shimmered. I liked how she kept the volume under control, adding drama without constraint. You could feel the melancholy and emotion of Virginia Woolf and her books and yet there was romance and positivity about it. Miles above Dior. Bravo.

C'est pas tous les jours que je regarde des défilés, mais vraiment pas. Et pourtant, ce défilé en plus de montrer des créations sublimes, la mise en scène et la musique sont vraiment sublimes. Je ne me lasse ni de l'une, ni de l'autre.
Spectacular!!!. The music and the collection gives me the emagination of young girl emerging herself into a world of color, shapes, textures, movements that touch and wake up all the senses embracing the whole magnificent journey she's exploring. I absolutely adore this collection and the music really moved me.

The question is.. fans, how many cocktail parties do we have to organize to let such precious outfit available for rental & let anyone enjoy the special modeling thrill? How many Red carpet and film festivals to enjoy next? How many opera events? Yeah, every corner of the street every neighborhood if possible fans, you see...we have very different points of view about human nature, if we decide to put beauty to rule the world, think about it fans
Why is it not the show with the real music? I see a beautiful set-up with classical musicians but I hear something completely different, it is out of sync with what I see. And this is not the only show that does that. I think that's a loss on a beautiful show like this. Chanel and Dior have to watch out! ;-) Ow and I adore that little kid on the frond row with her/his big pink camera...
