My fiancé and I lost our newborn, Everett on July 12th of this year. It warms my heart to see healthy, happy babies being brought into this world to parents who truly love them. There is no better gift on earth but to have a child. Not only is it making you grow, as a person but it also grows your love to your significant other immensely. The love you feel for that tiny human being is just unimaginable huge. My husband and I have our 8th anniversary today. He reminded me that I gave him the ultimate gift which a woman can give to the person she loves and that’s a child. We literally grow a human being inside our bellies…. Congrats on the little one. Mine just turned 5 months. They grow so fast in such a short time. Everyone always told me if you blink you will miss it. This is what life is about. This is why we push. This is why we drive. This is why we wake up. My daughter just started doing this thing where she hugs me and lays her head on my shoulder when I hold her. There's nothing that can express that feeling. It's the most unconditional love on the face of the planet.

I had all 3 through c-sections and with my last baby being impatient and coming 6 weeks early coupled with the amount of scar tissue in the incision area, I knew I was done (not to mention my sanity couldn’t take any more children 😆) This will forever change you, but for the better. You’re now responsible for the life of a tiny human and teaching her everything about life will be your most epic adventure yet. I know you’ll be an amazing dad just by the way you have been talking about your daughter and the things you can’t wait to do with her. Once she’s up and walking, you better watch out cuz she’s gonna be a LOT like her daddy I think and that means lots of mischief down the road. Congrats again to you both and your families. Sending healing thoughts to G for a swift recovery. I know how bad those c-section incisions can hurt for a while but it does get better. Enjoy Ryder and parenthood. We don’t push them out, and while that is brutal, recovering from a major surgery and being cut open is a much harder recovery then from a vaginal birth. Kudos to you mom, I hope you’re healing well. I said it in on photos you posted when she was born, but saying it again because it’s so true. Hold on tight mom and dad, because it’s truly going to be the ride of your life! I promise! It’s true you can’t understand the the full meaning of the word love until you become a parent yourself. Nothing compares, and it’s the best feeling in the world but also so scary to love something sooo damn much. That little girl is going to have one hell of a life. Me too, mine was emergent. C Sections are a hell of a lot harder to recover from than a vaginal birth. Whatever gives you a happy healthy baby ❤️
