Had a spare small package of grindz laying around. Used it yesterday, didn't think it would do anything but grinder today cut 20% more coffee with the same time and fineness settings. The thing worked, grinder is about 3 year old Vario.
Used this and totally locked up my burrs on an e65s. Setting to a MEDIUM grind setting is vital. Took me an hour using a plastic spudger to get the burrs free of the caked and solidified GRINDZ.
I was wrong. It wasn't this. It was SuperGrindz, which is supposedly made to prevent a superauto's grinder from locking up. I tried again, at fully coarse, and they still bound up. This time I took the grinder apart and soaked the burrs. The actual original grindz with the yellow packaging (the product featured here, which I now use) works beautifully with no issues.
I have a bottle of Umex Grindz Opened a couple of months ago. Why does it smell like bad cheese? DOes it have a shelf like, need to be kept in the freezer, or is it simply stinky?
That's strange. It's a cereal based product so I haven't seen that happen. I'm guessing it got moldy or something - any chance it was in water? I've had some sitting around literally for years and no smell.
It depends on usage. I'd recommend for a home grinder like the Baratza, once a month is great. If it's a commercial setting it needs to be more often. Probably once a week if not more.

Sounds about right! That stuff is amazing.

Hello can i use this product on my eureka mignon specialita and how much to use please ?
Yes - absolutely. I would do exactly the same amount I did there in the video - 1 capful should be plenty.
@@Freshgroundroast thanks for your help

Thanks 😊
Can i use it on my commercial Mazzer grinder?
Absolutely! Highly recommend it once a week for a cafe.
Can you use those cleaning tablets on the machine in-build in grinders? I have the breville barista express.
Yes! You absolutely can. They're a cereal based product so they won't hurt it in any way,
@@Freshgroundroast thank you.
How often should we clean our grinder ? Thanks!

@@Freshgroundroast Ok. Thank you very much! I think I really need to clean mine... very soon!
