Great place to visit. I was there in 2018, the park is wonderful to explore, beautiful plants and pagodas. Took many pics of gates and surrounding streets. If anyone visits Hong Kong, don't miss out on a day trip to Macau, well worth it

Great video. Love the guy wearing the 70s suit and tie behind Bruce in the original film. The "No dogs or Chinese," sign is not fictional. It was there until 1947 and I met someone who had seen it and confirmed its existence.

I believe this sign was never there, just long enough to record the scene. Although the shot was done here in Macau, at Jardim Camões (a place where Camões supposedly wrote some parts of "Lusíadas") the scene is supposed to happen in Shanghai. Macau was never under British control but Portuguese. Even the Protestant Chapel and Cemetery in the city were completely abandoned in the 40's and by the time the movie was done, it was not even a chapel anymore, the space was being used as a fireworks company.

@@daniel.daniel7795 It was during the Japanese occupation dummy. Even under the british occupation in Hong Kong, chinese were prohibited into entering some clubs and venues reserved for the whites until some time in 60's and 70's.

@@jkking6089 You didn´t read my comment quite well. The scene wasn´t shot either in HK or Shanghai, but in Macau, city that was never under british or Japanese control. I am History teacher, lived in Macau for 5 years and have many friends there. Nobody from there confirmed this sign was real. Also, if you see pictures and documents of Huo Yuanjia years, you will see that there where a sign with 10 rules, none of them so humiliating. But as a matter of fact, chinese people where discriminated, humiliated and even killed by foreigners during the invasions, specially the Japanese invasion (Nanjing massacre being the most infamous, I wrote a thesis about it at MPI from Macau in chinese, you can find it on internet).

Bruce films took part in many real locations not just studios. I saw other videos that you can very well match locations with the film. Bruce was very real.

Luis de Camoes was a famous Portuguese poet. Probably this scene was shot in Macau, that's a Portugal colony!!!

Sim, uma cena foi feita na rua atrás das ruínas da Igreja de São Paulo, e a cena seguinte no vídeo podemos ver ele entrando no Jardim Camões, de costas voltadas para a Igreja Santo Antônio!

I wrote Macau in the description. It's Macau right near St Paul's church, all like 10 minute walk from each other.

Surprised it has not rusted, maybe it's been painted regularly keeping the water out. It's possible they built a new gate with the same pattern.

Poor filming, watching your videos is a torture to the eyes more than enjoying.
Why a need to move so fast like filming F1.
