We need laws that will protect Canadians. The only way to protect Canadians is to hold a vote where Canadians vote for or against a "non-confidence in the government in charge". Canadians cannot rely on Members of Parliament to represent them on this matter. Canadians need to be able to call for this vote at any time. Should a vote for "non-confidence in the government" occur, then an election date must be set. Elections Canada will have 7 days to set this date which must be ASAP, preferable within 40 days, a maximum of 60 days.
