Excellent info. I'm running a SRAM 10-42 on an 11 speed GRX 800 1x drivetrain with a 40T chain ring Climbing steep 15% hills is OK, but I spin out on the flats. With an MX9, I could bump up my chainvri g to 44T, and still climb the steeper hills. I might need a goat link, but they're cheap! Cheers
I initially thought that, but as long as you grease the thread b4 fitting and loosen whilst still on the wheel, it comes off easy with a standard cassette tool.

Do you run a 1 x 11 setup? Do you have DT Swiss hubs? The upgrade to the MX9 is cheap, and easy to do and will get you a substantial gearing upgrade!
once fitted the xd adapter supplied with this cassette can be impossible to remove.

Great video, that's a lot of gears. Lol

eww a 1x.
What was your long term assessment of this cassette would you still recommend it ?
Absolutely, I would classify it as a high quality cassette, on par with equivalent shimano and sram offerings.
