not a celtic fan, watched 60 mins of your team because my team isnt playing today. never seen a player with bigger appetite to win the ball back like maeda, and actually get it back. cause you can run around for 90 mins like connor gallagher or mason mount but they rarely got the ball back while players like park ji sung or kante really did. very refreshing because this kind of players are very rare
Yep.....we know what he can do. He's better without the ball than with the ball tbh. His work rate and energy off the ball is prodigious and he's deceptively quick as well. He can chip in with the odd goal line he did today as well. Far bigger tests to come but we'll take any win in the Champions League regardless of the opposition.

Johnston is OK defensively but lacks the technique and speed of thought in possession to be UCL level. Darius Vassell scored an overhead kick and was England's best player in a tournament but he still wasn't Michael Owen for Villa afterwards just like Johnston can't be Dani Alves. Taylor just isn't athletic enough to be a quality football despite improvement. Scales has the same problem x10 as I mentioned in other replies. As soon as Joe Hart left and Kasper appeared the team improved 10% overnight. Same could happen in the spots I mentioned earlier.
