people don't know about the deeper word meaning 'shiinyu' in japanese. Its not just about just being best friend but .. its more deeper meaning like my Japanese friend said instead use the Japanese word bestfriend '親友' but chanyeol uses '真勇' a close friendship that dares to know deeper. it's like wanting close friendship towards romance.
It's also like the word "anata", which is often translated as "you" but has a deeper meaning of being an affectionate term of endearment.
