It’s the same situation when an American citizen overstays permission of visa duration in Australia (reciprocal 90-day electronic authorization for tourist visa), the American citizen will be detained and deported from Australian interior as well. It doesn’t mean the Australians or Americans want to migrate illegally to stay in the other country to live permanently like the way you described in this video. You think Americans are not deported from Australia, please go watch Border Security shows.
Also my advice to you is to travel the world outside of the United States to have a much wider world view. I have been to the US 4-5 times to visit family but as an Australian citizen, I can guarantee you that the vast majority of Australians do NOT want to live in the US. Visiting is another story, countless Australians visiting the US every year though.
Alternatively you may also consult an American friend who has traveled the world extensively outside of the United States and you may ask for their opinions, I’m sure they will share much valuable insight.
