If you are planning to grow veg via seed, you'll need to look online best month to start growing each one in your area. I live in London and usual guidance to start tomatoes, peppers and aubergine indoors in January, but I intend to start next month.
Great video! I have implemented the same exact steps since last year. I still rent so don’t have an outdoor garden. I invested in an indoor garden to save on produce cost. I bought the hydrotower hydroponic garden since I’m on a budget. But I would highly recommend the gardyn 4.0, which I’m saving for. It pays for itself in the long run.
It's crazy to me that car insurance goes up rather than down every new period as it's the opposite where I live. At the very least, as long as no claims are made, it should stay the same price. So yes, definitely shop around and see what can be done to reduce that cost 🤞🏾💞
Aldi, rotisserie chicken from Sam's club /costco Buy in bulk and portion out Become friends with different spices , they go a long way to season in different ways Meatleass days are definitely helpful I for instance love days when there is no meat I feel vegan overall would be more costly than vegetarian diet but i would love to hear your thoughts Our family of three this way spends only ~650 in groceries. We also budget one eating out day each week so we don't meal prep that day
Hi Leila! Thanks for the video! I’ve been waiting so long to switch to Mint! I spend $180 for two lines at Verizon 😭 I want to switch but I still owe a balance on one of the phones. Do you think I can still make the switch with a balance?
I would greatly appreciate the car insurance video! I live in LA and my insurance keeps going up it’s ridiculous! My 6 month premium is $1639.88 that’s approximately $275/month! I was paying 120-140 a couple of years ago 😭
The biggest thing I’m doing to save money this year, which is of obvious but always important to remember, is by being on top of my expense tracking and budgeting routines so that I am keeping track of where my money is going and adjusting my budget as needed to reach my goals. Another thing is automating my savings. I set up automatic transfers to my HYSA and my Roth IRA contributions to ensure I max it out this year. Happy savings everyone!😊
Aghh that's frustrating! I do love deer though and would welcome them here lol Maybe you could set up some sort of greenhouse system they can't get into?
@@PersonalFinancewithLeila We tried a makeshift fence just around our small garden and they just broke right through it. I think we also have groundhogs. Hopefully this year we can put up something a bit more effective
yea film a video on the grocery shopping. I just decided today that Im shopping at Whole foods for produce if its not much more expensive than processed foods or prepared foods.
Great video, Leila. Very informative. Regarding the meal prepping for a plant based diet. I would check with your primary or GYN to make sure they recommend you consuming soy products. Once we get to 30, our bodies tend to react less favorably to soy. If it's organic, it may be a slightly different story. I remember back when I turned 30, almost 23 years ago, my doctor recommended I avoid excessive amounts of soy. Again, your health care providers would have a better idea of what is currently recommended. I have a vegan friend who avoids soy at all costs, she's over 40 though. Have a great week!
Most doctors are not nutritionists and actually have absolutely no idea what a proper balanced diet is for a person. And the thing about soy is almost certainly 100% false and not backed by legitimate research at all.

try shopping for car insurance with a broker, they represent smaller companies that don't advertise or spend money on celebrity endorsements

Yessss. Another video.
Great list! What gardening zone are you in?
Going out is expensive thats why its best to cook our own food. Coffee too buy the bag instead of the cup.
Definitely!
Eating out is one of my New Year’s resolutions not to do so I mean it should save me a lot more money

Apply for a low mileage discount since you barely drive.
Already have that discount!
They have that option? What’s the lowest u can get it for?
I need to check my auto insurance for low mileage discount. I drive round trip 5 miles 😮
Great video! I would love to hear more about your journey of veganism.

Our yard isn't fenced in and the deer eat everything we try to grow in our garden. It's so sad.

Leila, How can I save money in 5 months?

I find Whole Foods overpriced for "staple items" and produce 😬
I think she meant whole foods as in not processed. Whole Foods is very expensive.

The closure of the TikTok Shop will force consumers to save money. 🤑
Trumps gonna bring it back
If not, another app will take it's place and do the same thing!
