It's criminal that Eidola are not more popular than they are currently. They are technically gifted in all aspects: * Super intricate and creative riffs with beautiful harmonies * The band has impeccable timing when playing live, one thing to note as well is that Sergio & Andrew are both in DGD and when Eidola & DGD Tour together, they're putting in two shifts of extreme energy (Sergio well known for that anyways). But it is mega impressive! * Andrew & Matt's vocal dynamics are top tier * The Drums and Bass are so in-sync with each other and a lot more complicated that you think with initial listening * Overall Brilliance!! Edit - added more points!
That’s exactly the problem. It takes brain power to listen to. The masses aren’t equipped to understand how great this truly is. They listen to Cardi B and think it’s groundbreaking.
I love how the 7 string is tuned GDGCFAD and the 6 string is just EADGBE (standard). Both serve completely different functions and styles, while complimenting each other, and you can't have one without the other. Eidola is just too talented
I do believe that the 6 is still tuned to d standard dgcfad, i haven’t done a whole lot of reading into it though. Either way, yes, they both absolutely mend (pun intended) so perfectly with one another while having their own purpose
@ryankleinstiver7661 not much reading to do, just look at Sergio's left hand and count the frets, it's definitely EADGBE for sure :) Can't wait for the new album!
I’ve been listening to this song since it dropped but I did not appreciate just how fantastic the guitar parts are until now! Phenomenal work, and I cannot wait for this new album! The Architect blew my mind and introduced me to you guys and I have been a fan ever since!
I listen to this song at least 2-3 times a week. This is one of the best arranged "metal" songs I've heard in at least a decade. Excellent musicians and ludicrously unappreciated and unknown.
Um. Okay wow. This is impressive. The song is so well written that I didn't really honestly pick up on how technical it is as well, but dayum it sure is.
It's nice not to hear the overamped vocals from the original track. They should remix it, and pull the vocals way down. These strings deserve way more presence in the mix.
The fact that every member is multi talented really makes them standout, lead vocals running such a killer rhythm guitar is wild

Excellent drums and bass too!!

Totally! I tried to play along to a few songs on drums, I just could not keep up - incredible musicianship alround.@@BRNardy
not gonna lie, I love Cardi B 😂 dont hate!!@@licoricetheowl4174
@licoricetheowl4174 Absolutely spot on with that statement!

What an amazing guitar work on this one, I didn't realized how good guitars were in this song
I feel like they're mixed too low in the actual track to shine like they should on this one.
@@qscott777 it could be
Too easy to get sucked into Andrew's vocals tbf
good lord that 7 string is gorgeous
Right!? I found myself just waiting for the camera to pan over and let me admire it
Djentdola is here and I'm so ready
2:03 I love Sergio’s style so much
Agreed

A seven and a six string guitar is pretty cool. Excited for this album.
Yeah gorguts does this also, why bother with the extra string if your lead doesn't need it to be effective.
L💗VE the title !
Absolutely no weapon formed against us shall prosper.
Eternal death has been defeated.
Amen! 🙏
Jesus defeated death when he rose from the grave

YESSS!!! Do more of these for the album! Or even better, work with Sheet Happens!
Andrew Wells is just built different, man.
Andrew built himself different. Look at some of the older videos. Protein intake has been high!
Literal
This gives me major Protest the Hero vibes in the best way possible!
Their balance of ambience, melodic hardcore, and techy metalcore is rly something special.
This music style must be so hard to write. My hats off to y’all that do it!
This riff at 0:43 is INSANE! I Fucking love it! It took me days to play it just about like that.
i feel like these guys are so good, that the casual cant even process it.
I need this for God Takes Away Everything. The chorus is so clean
Absolutely amazing
Love this track. Also noticed that Andrew is primarily featured in these playthroughs. Doesn’t Matt Dommer contribute to the guitar work as well?
I remember Andrew saying he writes all the guitars - I’m sure Matt and Sergio have input as well but I think Matt lays the ground work
The credits of The Architect credit Andrew with vocals and guitars, and Matt is only credited for vocals. Matt probably only plays guitar live.
Andrew and Sergio record all the guitars for their albums, Matt plays live
I love that they have the actual mask from the album cover and that they wear it during this
Gran trabajo chicos, los riffs de Sergio siempre me atrapan ❤🔥❤🔥
So amazing! It`s my most listened song right now, I can`t get enough of it! 🖤
0:13 - Classic Sergio fast lick (can be heard in Royal Coda - Arms Race for God's Grace's end of the chorus)
Please do more of these!!
I’m a sucker for guitar play throughs
Those metal riffs are so sick.
Amazing track!

Sergio "I can play anything in standard" Medina ❤
Simplemente magnífico
incredible
Let's gooooo 🔥🔥🔥
Still waiting for DGD to make new music. As long as they keep letting Tilian do his thing behind the scenes that band can’t make bad music 💪
Two singles last six months and new album this year!

DAK77A text @ 1:59 got me blushing like a sailor.

🎸
That mask is so sick
Did y'all ever make a mask for the architect?
This song tickles my undercarriage
