  • In today's video we are trying out a different camera/audio setup. Hopefully the picture quality and audio has been improved. This format is also very similar to the older one that most folks really loved.
    As for the painting, it is not finished. It is a testament to the usage of simple shapes and how we will use them to further construct the painting later.

    Regards with respect maestro Yupari, I looked at many videos and I like your practice and to practice with you, I'm not new to oil painting, it has been my hobby, and passion, and for a lot of years I have been payment classes to Academic prof, it has been very expensive, but prices, all years have just copy people, and I can't tell that your techniques are something special to me. Sorry on Bad English im from Serbia, and this isn't my mother language...Want to tell you many things, don't have your mail and you have over 110 followers it's impossible to answer questions...Thank you maestro I learn many more from you than you. My story where I stopped Feb 2022 I decided to live like an Artist, I know it will be super hard to get concision, so it's a year behind me I painted from morning till sunset, and it's different when you do art like a profession. Think I in one year I evolve, and there in my brain is a lot of room for evolution, all years I have been blind, and photorealism in portrait art is disgusting I like this Style of old masters, Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Sargent, Cesar C and Cesar S. and you. Because work with you I want to say thank you for these gift videos. This work opened my mind, and from a few others, now I'm on level maestro who work for my first Exhibition.Maestro thank you for all you have done for me, my life are changed,finaly i can survive with comisons...You deserve 2milion folowers and i need 100k its inaf hahahaha. Regards with respect and love Vagalla.

    I listen to you while I’m painting! (Or music or some other soothing speaker). Having something going on in the background creates a zone of concentration that works much better for me than silence!

    Mrs. Mary McSorley speaking. I just watched. Loved! this demonstration so much. You delivered so much info. I will be doing this exercise tomorrow or next day! I had last watched a Rembrandt portrait done recently, maybe 9-1-2022, but it became frozen so switched to this. Just what I needed. You have great content. Yes, the disturbances really blow the focus. I will keep the phone on quiet. Great job!

    one of your best. Love the set up. Appreciate your commentary about painting and the painter e.g. when your concentration is broken- yes the "zone" is sacred. So easily broken and hard to get back. I put the phone in another room. So easy to get distracted. The fear or intimidation phase- so much to say about that. I like how Andrew Tischler said not to fear painting for all painting is - is a series of mistakes and corrections- something like that. Learning to move paint around, the fluidity of it all. At any rate, you bring so much to light- thank you.

    Don’t tell anyone, but I unfortunately need to smoke a bowl before I can get in the groove period Fortunately this affords me the avenue to always be painting. Anyway I don’t see how you can paint and teach simultaneously, your one gifted hombre. I play music very loud regardless of hour and usually zone in , but I have to have everything in order. Like my house needs to be squared away outside to I can’t have outside shit bothering me so I keep it real simple which is much easier now nearing 54 and tripping on that fact among shit. But yeah gotta have my life pretty much ok and not worried about work or family stuff etc or I couldn’t do it attempt painting I mean which now after thinking about your question makes me say you gotta be ok with yourself and life to paint which is pretty fucking cool now that you got me thinking thank you again
    for the teach

    Thank you, such a great tutorial. It is magic the way you get the face to appear just with the thin white blending into the burnt umber. But it drove me NUTS that you draped the hair closer to the eye on the left and lost the very rectangular shape of the face. I am absolutely confident you will fix it, solely my quirk, but for no reason it just bothered me! 🤣🤣 Subscribed

    Great video, Yupari Love your freehand stuff. BTW - regarding your phone ringing in DnD mode.....I THINK that if you have some contacts setup as "Favorites," then those will bypass the DnD. For example, I have my wife setup as a Favorite so her calls will always come through. Just go to Setttings->Do Not Disturb and then scroll down to where it says "Allow calls from." I bet your phone ringing has to do with that setting and the specific person who was calling you. - Jeff

    • @Ava-ns4go
      @Ava-ns4go 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      when you hold a brush closer to the hairs it means you apply more force...you wouldn't be looking to apply force or detail at this stage hence holding it at the further end

    lol I have priority set for a certain few that will ring my phone and I'll answer, but for everyone else my phone will not ring and they'll have to leave a message. Many get blocked if no message is left. Way too many robo calls.

    • @rosalieduessel386
      @rosalieduessel386 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Marion Niebrugge. I do very much hope that you don't feel disturbed by me giving an answer. There is of cause a formular. Search for Head proportions an more. However, everyone is unique, and best lesson should be, watching closely the person you want to interprete.

    In Do Not Disturb mode, if someone dials you repeatedly within a couple of minutes, the phone assumes it is an emergency and allows it to ring.

  • @dthi8615
    @dthi8615 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    The mic is too close to your mouth and it distorts slightly. Is the audio near -0db in recording. Try a mic positioned set not so close, a Rode NTG-2 mic. A mouth mic is meant for environments where there are other loud ambient noises to compete with, e.g. show sports.
