I just started watching and I'm mind blown by how you picked up on it in literal seconds.
When you see their logo of 'Save me' and you flip it upside down, you see the logo of 'I'm fine'. It's genius!

Save me and Im fine are mirrors of each other, not only the beats but also the lyrics of im fine basically answer to all the lyrics of save me in reverse, you can look up the comparisons, it's fascinating! Also watch the live performance in your own time, the choreo is amazing

You have to compare RM's lyrics side by side between Save Me and I'm Fine....it's so brilliant! The lines mirror each other.
In Save Me, he says, "Thank you for making me be me,
for making me fly
for giving someone like me wings
for straightening my frowning face
(Direct translation: for folding me up who was crinkled)
for breaking the suffocating shell surrounding me
for waking me up who lived in my dreams only
Because the sky clears up when I think of you,
I gave my sadness away

And then in I'm Fine, he says, "It’s okay even if it’s not us,
even if the sorrow erases me,
even if the sky gets covered with dark clouds again,
and I’m in an endless dream
Even if I get endlessly crumpled,
even if my wings get torn apart,
and I become someone that is not me.."
Two of my favorite RM verses, for sure (there are many!!). I also love how the choreographies not only “mirror” each other but seem to mirror their own songs (Everyone standing/dancing strong but dropping to floor at the end in Save Me vs repeatedly faltering/falling and being helped up but standing upright at the end in I’m Fine. They fit each song but still give a “not everything is (as bad/good) as it seems” vibe.

Utter confusion but still trying to crack the code, cuz you know some of them fbi army already published some 30-page-long peer-reviewed academic piece on the Bora journal about the usage of specular reflection visually, sonically and thematically speaking, and the implication of that on the BU and consequently an analysis on the mirroring of the mind of the individual in society and why it connects sonically to the frenzy of individualism and escapism, solidifying an early speculation of Jungiang psychoanalysis being a recurring theme in their music (especially Jung's Archetypes)... I'm fbi army, the social studies kind more than the puzzles and riddles solver kind, so yeah this is my escaping mechanism

Everything is connected or rather reversed/mirrored between the two songs: The same main notes are reversed, RM's verses correspond if read top to bottom and bottom to top, the order of the rap line, the choreography goes from individual to assisting moves, etc., etc.... The more you dissect them, the more you'll see that together Save Me and I'm Fine are pure freakin genius.

You are SO close to the connection. I can't wait for you to them perform these 2 songs. LOL you will be, " shooketh," again to see how close you are. a couple things, they will surprise with their unique musical and production choses on the regular. No, you will not get used to it. You will find this hard to believe, but honest to god, most of the time they sound even better live. It's very nice to have a reactor that knows the tech side of music a bit. Brilliant. also, the video of Save me is a one take. Goose bumps... I call it my music brain, It makes me chill and tears leak.💜

The mcountdown live version where they perform save me and transition into im fine (with the graphic people have mentioned and which i had seen online and loved before i knew it was related to BTS) is so good. If you look at the music you will find they mirtor each other....and if you look at the lyrics side by side they answer each other/mirror each other too....deffinitky recommend the mcountdown live
I love watching your reactions but as well as that I also really enjoy your music😁 I'm don't know much about voices and musical instruments and what vocals go good with what melodies. But I do know what my ears enjoy😂. I just finished adding your music to my work playlist😁
If you have listened to "Save Me" you would have gotten a textbook (you know those kinds that you have in college) full of people explaining to you how "Save Me" and "Im Fine are mirrors of each other and how if you listened to "Save Me" you should here "Im Fine" so since NO ONE has said you should listen to "Im Fine" I guess you haven't listen to "Save Me" o.o Have you? o.o
No it was not recorded together it was recorded several years apart. But yeah like Save me / Im fine Also if you look at Fake Love when you see Tae and the phones you will see Save Me behind him but its really Im Fine upside down. When they do the dance to Im Fine they would do Save Me then turn it upside down then do I'm Fine.
Also in Mirror we are talking Mirror as in the took the sheet music and turned it upside down. MIRROR. No frying.
I did not recommend to you that you hear "I'm Fine" at the time but many others did ... just saying.
I will recommend maybe as a musician I would like you do Save Me and Im Fine back to back to listen to the music.

We call them sister songs, this songs are on different albums and there is some time between but are connected in a lot if ways ;) like people wrote in comments.
