Besides their incredible talent, music and performances it is these sorts of things that really endear Band-Maid to the fans. They don’t take themselves seriously and know how to have fun on the stage as well as giving exceptional performances.
Besides being the heart of the band. I think Miku has encouraged the others, who were very reluctant in the beginning to be more extrovert. Said many times that Miku could do anything in the media. Presenter, interviewer, comedienne, actress. Luckily she sticks to being a rock star.

But since his vocal cord surgery and the start of their podcast, Saiki takes more initiative, just like Misa who also participates in the cut. But one thing is certain, they all take great pleasure in playing together and with the public. A reason why we love this group.

Some Band Maid fans may not know Saiki had serious vocal health issues years ago, not unlike Adel for example. Thankfully she recovered and regained her singing voice slowly over time. To not cause vocal reinjury she must take care not to strain her voice the show break helps. Occasional Saiki hits an off key note, all singers do. It means: 1) No lip sync; 2) no auto tune. THAT'S WHY WE LOVE BAND MAID. They bring it for REAL and always do their best for us. They don't phone it in, real musicians performing.
Saiki's stronger than ever with negligible imperfections thesedays. And those imperfections actually sound good as is! It wasn't the case like 7 years ago, it used to be more obvious. She's getting more and more praise from reactors, while in the past everyone was talking about instrumental aspects only.
But she did take a break at Tokyo Garden Theatre, for quite a long time only Saiki was on stage! But yeah, the Little Pigeon has enough energy to power a large city!
@@venusgaijin Did you see the live stream? The main break was like 30 minutes long, and about 15-20 minutes of that was just Saiki chatting to the crowd. The music was about just over 2 hours, the live stream was 3 hours long!
Good thing Miku is such a Bundle of Energy. Che has so many jobs. Founder, Spokes-Pigeon, Rhythm Guitar & Backing Vocals as well as the Lyricist! She's a very busy birdie!
She is so funny and cute.... They rock hard. Saki as most know had serious vocal cord issues years back. She needs to watch the strain on her voice. , sometimes. Second the band does Instrumentals and I LOVE THAT. Who does instrumentals any more? Band-Maid. It is like Jazz...all instruments trading off solos. Saki gets off stage to let her fellow band mates take the lime light. Akane is a HAM I mean gorilla the "crazy" drummer. MISA maybe most reserve, but the opening ceremony is fun and you can't take your eyes of her.... Kanami let's her guitar speak, but she even gets into the MC act. Saki did a big part of MC at one show I was at, Nashville, BUT the ring master, star of MC is Miku... She made me laugh so hard at that Nashville show, She is a clever hardworking Pigeon and plays with the fans... Love it. 😊❤❤❤❤❤😊
It seems to me that Miku is one of these persons who only feels "realy alive" on stage. Here she might have the feeling to "open her eyes a second time" and feeling "fully awake". Therefore she is interested in mathematics she reminds me on the physician Dr Richard Faynman who was able to describe mathematic formular with graphics(Faynman-diagram) and got the nobelprice for this . He give up drinking alcohol, because he hates it, if he was not able to use his brain and recognition and feel halve asleep - he also wanted to feel "totaly awakend" .
TGT was the first time that Saiki shared the MC duties during the concert and she did it very well, with a very personal style. I suppose that in the future she will do it more often, especially in the big arenas and in performances of more than two hours. Their show is gaining consistence. Having two MCs allows for a more complete interaction with the fans.

Hang on, was Akane actually singing "Rock in Me" there? I assumed she was lip-synching, but the way it sort of tailed off at the end makes me think it might have actually been her voice, and it definitely wasn't Miku or Saiki's voice.
I think it was Saiki’s voice. Listen for the vibrato which is a Saiki trademark. There is another video where Akane is lip-synching Saiki and at the end Saiki walks into the frame to bust the illusion. If Akane could really sing like that, perhaps they might never have recruited Saiki in the first place? ❤🕊️❤🌊❤🦍❤🥷❤👸🏻
