Right? Not to mention that - unless biodegradable- they’re horrible for the planet (specifically marine life/ waterways).... I love me some glitter on occasion but prefer to purchase it separately, & since having learned about its impact will only purchase biodegradable.

Thanks for the swatches and comparisons! The Master by Mario palette is the only other ABH palette I've ever bought. The Amrezy palette's color story speaks to me in a refreshing way as a standalone product. It's got everything from your light browbone highlights, to your matte transitions, to your metallic duochromes, to your black liner shade!
Firstly, secondly, I think there are far too many glitter shades and the colour scheme is boring. The pro pigment pallets I found a very successful change. Finally not nude nude nude.... BORING!
I hate that they always put light orangey browns in the palettes, that are basically the only transition shades! 😫I just can't buy palettes that have the same shades every time. 🙄 Its a shame cause I love the formula.
Let me tell you... I had no idea who Amrezy was until I just Googled her! Just got interested in watching a video about this palette for the first time, and who better to watch first than the fabulous Mel! I am not likely going to pick up this palette, just curious because I ignored it until now. As usual, these looks are stunning. Such skills!!
On its own the palette is pretty scary BUT ABH just feels so tired, almost PML or Tarte-like. They took the increase pigment from Jackie's palette and tossed in the same vibe as previous releases and thought they did something. Imagine if instead of the glitters they add some of their cool duo/multichrome shades! I'd take redone mattes with that in a heartbeat. I want them to go back to being innovative like Subculture and not just pretty.

But I’m fully over eyeshadow palettes that contain things that cannot be called eyeshadow or safely used as such. Christine from Temptalia got some glitter in her eye and had to go to a doctor apparently, and if that makeup wizard can get glitter in her eye then I’m doomed. I need my eyeballs more than I need makeup.
Jaz Helton I scratched my inner lower eyelid on my favorite shade in Colourpop’s Good Sport pallet, the rust color with blue flecks. That wasn’t even a full on glitter. I recommend using Too Faced Glitter glue whenever any glitter shade is involved, right before, one eye at a time. It spackles it on. We are taking chances, people, never mind the environment.....
I gave in and bought this one on sale at Sephora for 35- I just got into eyeshadow in October and quickly realized I like higher end and luxury eyeshadow I was hoping it was BS but now it’s facts for a lot of brands. This is such a cute palette. Just be aware on the Anastasia site it says certain shades shouldn't be used in the immediate eye area: Litty, Cupcake, Gemini, Rezy, Yugo, & Semsa. Thanks for mentioning that in your video. So far you're the only one I've come across to do so. Makes me a little nervous about using the palette though.
If the mattes were more various and original I would have bought it but yeah I have colours like this in many palettes already, especially in the Jackie Aina palette which I love. There are 2 medium gingery brown on the bottom raw that look way too similar to be side by side, let alone in the same palette. I hope the next palette will be more exciting ! Too bad, I was really keen on it at first glance.
I have one Abh pallet (Jackie’s the colours oh myyy) and you know I think I’m going to get it. If I had a bunch of other abh pallets I think I would be meh on it too.

This is a beautiful palette but for several reasons I’m passing. My makeup purchases for the month are already committed to Sydney Grace & Clionadh, but even if that wasn’t the case I simply cannot in good conscience purchase any palette with non biodegradable glitter. It’s just such an irresponsible - & imo inexcusable - decision for a brand as large as ABH to make (and same goes for colourpop!) Hopefully my go to indies will come through for me with dupes/ near dupes for the few shades that most excite me....especially Barb, which is absolutely stunning & SO up my alley!! I love how wet it looks, & if it’s ever released as a single I’d grab it in a heartbeat! (Any fellow indie lovers know of any dupes/ near dupes?)

While I have half of those shades, they're all in different palettes which is a packing struggle when going on long holidays (first world problems). This combines all my go to colours in one palette, yay! :)

This is such a cute palette. Just be aware on the Anastasia site it says certain shades shouldn't be used in the immediate eye area: Litty, Cupcake, Gemini, Rezy, Yugo, & Semsa.
Thanks for mentioning that in your video. So far you're the only one I've come across to do so. Makes me a little nervous about using the palette though.

If the mattes were more various and original I would have bought it but yeah I have colours like this in many palettes already, especially in the Jackie Aina palette which I love. There are 2 medium gingery brown on the bottom raw that look way too similar to be side by side, let alone in the same palette. I hope the next palette will be more exciting ! Too bad, I was really keen on it at first glance.

I have one Abh pallet (Jackie’s the colours oh myyy) and you know I think I’m going to get it. If I had a bunch of other abh pallets I think I would be meh on it too.

This is a beautiful palette but for several reasons I’m passing.
My makeup purchases for the month are already committed to Sydney Grace & Clionadh, but even if that wasn’t the case I simply cannot in good conscience purchase any palette with non biodegradable glitter. It’s just such an irresponsible - & imo inexcusable - decision for a brand as large as ABH to make (and same goes for colourpop!)
Hopefully my go to indies will come through for me with dupes/ near dupes for the few shades that most excite me....especially Barb, which is absolutely stunning & SO up my alley!! I love how wet it looks, & if it’s ever released as a single I’d grab it in a heartbeat! (Any fellow indie lovers know of any dupes/ near dupes?)

Kia Ora Mel! Cheers for the review. I have most of ABH palettes (except collabs) but I will definitely be buying this one as it looks perfect for travel. While I have half of those shades, they're all in different palettes which is a packing struggle when going on long holidays (first world problems). This combines all my go to colours in one palette, yay! :)
