It's interesting how our tastes overlap to some extent but entirely different at the same time - not a fan of RV's music (I only enjoy Peek-a-boo and Psycho every once in a while) but SKZ is my second top artist on Spotify and agreed, LALALALA got me on chokehold too (the entire ROCK-STAR still does!). First top artist is Dreamcatcher and OOTD is slooowly growing on me - maybe it'll grow on you too :D
OOTD is DC's best title track so far! plus the b-sides are actually cohesive and I'm so glad DC has implemented more hip hop and dark pop into their music
OOTD is very good, better than both Vision and MAISON. However anything was gonna be disappointing after Bon Voyage. They’re my ults so I’m very biased.
ok besides the unequivocally correct call on RV (my heart was RACING as we neared the end of the vid) I also was just about as in agreement as I've ever been on one of these... with one exception, Nobody at 6 astonished me. that song did basically nothing for me. but maybe it was the underwhelming MV and I should give the track another chance... bc again, otherwise, nodding my head emphatically at pretty much all of this
Red Velvet and Kiss of Life really came and dropped albums full of pure gold this month. Also was loving Drama, Lalalala, On My Youth, and Odd-Venture. Significantly better month for kpop than October 🎉

i looooove the question lol honestly i’ve seen a little bit of hate on golden and first of all i want to make the statement that this is FOR ME a non-skip album, which is pretty rare. his music is probably the closest to the genre i usually gravitate towards; his album and yoongi’s were easily my favorite solo projects from bts and it’s not because they are my biases but because i truly felt connected to them and i simply enjoyed the majority of the tracks in them. from jk i was expecting commercial pop regardless but i have to say he surprised me with the versatility in the singles and with this kinda dance-pop vibe in the b-sides, it reminded me a little of the weekend but A LOT of like 2015 justin bieber (i loooved his album called “purpose”). listening to golden felt very nostalgic and healing, i just adored it. this would be my ranking, but it could change anytime: 1. hate you 2. shot glass of tears 3. standing next to you 4. yes or no 5. seven 6. closer to you 7. too sad to dance 8. 3D 9. somebody 10. please don’t change :) hbu?
Was somewhat afraid that dkb will go to the usual 4th gen bg noisy music route 🥲 I love good noisy music since I like the majority of skz's and ateez's songs, but I started following dkb back then due to their songs feel different from the rest of their 4th gen peers (I dislike "sorry mama" but somehow really adore "sober")... Only time will tell, I guess. After all, their main vocalist left so I don't think they will release songs which put too much emphasize in vocal...
