+Luke Parsons Seriously though, I'm in my 30's, mom of 4, and I grew up listening to Mariah. Out of all of the female icons of my generation, she is/was (in my opinion) hands down the most talented. Vocally she had Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson and Madonna beat by far. Even though those 3 are the always mentioned before her for whatever reason. It makes me proud that the younger generations are listening to her. Our current music could never compare to this raw talent. We'll, maybe Adele ;) Anyway, if you haven't yet you need to listen to "Without You". She performed this so flawlessly live that it was added to her album. It's my fav. I mean, you're welcome

Seriously, I remember a few Christmases ago I was Christmas shopping in Belk. "All I Want For Christmas Is You" came on, but it was being sung by someone else (I don't know who it was)...who of course could NOT ever hold a candle to Mariah. Everyone in the women's section kept listening in painful silence, politely saying nothing about how awful the song sounded compared to Mariah. Finally I just yelled out, "Oh come on, DON'T EVEN TRY TO SING THAT SONG UNLESS YOU'RE MARIAH CAREY!!!" And everyone around me started laughing and saying "I know right"!!!

Look how black and white videos were before HD Digital back in the early 90's were. I wonder where this video was shot nice beach. I love the old Mariah from the 90's better before the music industry went watered down.
